I quickly rose up to my feet, staggering a little bit as my balance felt a little off, those tiny hairs on my body standing up with apprehensiveness as I closely looked around into that darkness nestled in between the thick trunks and that gravel path we'd driven up on, scouting out for any signs of...movement.
Jess had taken a defensive stance in front of me too, that fur on the back of her neck bristling with alertness as she stared in the same direction, lowly growling from time to time.
We were scared shitless, that was for sure.
Whatever she felt, it seemed to be pretty serious, judging by her worrying reaction. And it was making me anxious too.
I didn't dare utter a single word as I kept staring in that same direction, my knees starting to shake as two dark silhouettes appeared out of nowhere, slowly prowling straight towards us.
My heart jumped with fright, almost pissing myself as I widely stared, forgetting even how to breathe as those two entities approached until the moon rays finally touched them, giving us a better view at their bodies.
They were two frighteningly large wolves, one completely black and one of a soft blend of various shades of grey, both finally stopping just a few spaces away from us, attentively staring at the both of us as we stood there, trembling like leaves in the wind.
Oh god. We were going to die. We were going to fucking die right here and now. Holy shit. Oh my god.
"Jess," I hissed under my breath, noticing the way her ears perked in response as she continued to look at the two wolves.
"I want you to run, okay? When I say run, you run and don't look back okay?" I whispered to her, not failing to also notice the way the black wolf's head tilted to the side with curiosity as if having heard what I'd just said. And much to my utter dismay they started moving again, using slow but determined moves as she walked straight towards us until they were standing just a few steps away, not even giving me the time to react as suddenly, those wolves were gone. And in their stead were Nathan and David, both as bare as the day they were born as they stood there, all brave and uncaring in their naked glory.
"Oh wow, that's way too many dicks for one evening," I mindlessly said, jaw-slacking with astonishment as I gawked at those two freaking long and thick monsters dangling between their legs, faintly hearing someone stifle a chuckle before they quickly covered themselves up with their hands.
But before they could say anything in reply Jess suddenly turned back into her human form too right in front of me, noticing the way David's eyes grew in size as he stared at her bare body, visibly swallowing. Something else quickly grew in size too, earning himself a startled squeal from her before she covered her private parts and ran behind me to hide herself.
He seemed so very uncomfortable as he tried to contain his situation, lastly giving up as he went behind Nathan's back to hide himself away too.
Jesus.
I simply blinked and shook my head, directing my attention to Nathan as I curiously asked,
"What are you doing here?"
"We've been searching for you all day. Why the hell did you run away?" He asked back with a hint of anger and irritation laced in his tone.
"Why do you even care? Didn't you say that you were done trying?" I quickly shot back, placing my hands on my hips and tilting my head to the side for emphasis.
He remained silent for a moment, sizing me up and down with that brooding gaze of his whilst mine slipped away on its own, covertly trailing over his heavily muscled body, that flawless skin that seemed to glow under the moonlight and those bulging veins so blatantly visible in all the right places, making me secretly yearn to be close to him.
Fuck meee...Why does he have to be so freaking hot? I mentally complained, my gaze widening as soon as I noticed that hint of a knowing smirk dancing on his perfect lips. Shit.
He was doing it again!
"I thought I told you to stay out of..."
"Well, me," I said with annoyance, earning myself another one of those wicked smirks from him.
"Hey, you're the one sending me all those thoughts and emotions," He simply shrugged, infuriating me even more.
"Just fucking leave me alone already," I angrily muttered and turned around to Jess, faintly hearing him say those words again,
"I told you that I can't..."
But I didn't mind him and tried to help her out and cover her as she grabbed her clothes and started dressing back up as fast as she could, mildly stumbling from time to time as we were obviously still under the influence.
"Come on, you're going back home," I suddenly heard Nathan firmly say, my body quickly whipping around to face him as I immediately replied with a little bit of wobbling,
"Not with you we're not,"
"Okay, and who's gonna drive? You're both fucking wasted and last I checked, you didn't possess the ability of turning into a wolf like the rest of us so that you could just run back home,"
"Or are you planning to actually fucking kill yourself?" He mockingly raised a brow, actively managing to anger me to no end as I felt like screaming out loud or even throwing a fucking rock at his stupid face.
Son of a fucking...I grunted with vexation and went to pick up our garbage so that I could put it in the trunk and then throw it at home because hey, maybe I was drunk but that didn't mean that I'd suddenly turned into a litterer too.
So I picked everything up then went to throw it into the trunk, noticing Jess standing a few steps away from them and keeping her gaze averted as they all waited to get inside the car.
I was about to go to the front passenger seat when I suddenly heard her shout with alarm,
"No!"
I curiously turned to look at her, her gaze quickly lowering back to the ground as she quietly said,
"Stay in the back...with me..."
