"Alright everyone get comfy"
We all took a seat in the elevator as it ascended to our final battle. The battle against lancers dad, the king of the darkners.
"Hey" Susie interrupted the silence "is it possible to end this, you know peaceful style?"
"I'd like to think so" ralsai eyed her curiously "I'm surprised at you though. I thought you enjoyed violence"
"I mean yeah I do. There's nothing better than knocking a couple of heads together! But the kid loves his dad and I don't want to hurt him" my eyes softened at her words. I didn't think Susie was capable of caring for others.
"Aww Susie that's so nice" ralsai smiled at her.
"Yeah well don't get used to it" Susie growled, going straight back to her mean girl persona. I giggled to myself. I feel less annoyed by her actions and more amused. Maybe I judged her a little too harshly. Maybe she'd be a perfect second partner.
"The hell are you laughing at!" Susie glared at me.
"Nothing!" I said quickly.
"Alright that's our stop" ralsai stepped out of the elevator. I was about to follow when..
"Hey Kris" Susie placed a hand on my shoulder "after this do you think we could be I don't know friends or something" before I could say anything she cut me off "nevermind forget I said anything" she walked off with a red face. I smirked to myself.
