Kris pov
I stepped out of classroom after a long day of learning when..
"What the hell took you so long!" Susie grabbed me by the arm "hello adventure and awesome fighting power are just down the halls. How are you not racing out of your seat at the sound of that bell!"
"I fell asleep" I muttered in embarrassment.
"You're unbelievable" Susie shook her head "come on let's go!" Before I could protest she dragged me down the hallway.
"Are you ready?" Susie asked as we approached the closet.
"Born ready" I grinned. We were about to jump in when-
"Susie, Kris" we jumped at the sound of Noelle's voice "oh why were you both going into the closet?" She tilted her head in confusion.
"Oh you know just committing crime-"
"Making out" Susie shot me a glare at my answer.
"Ok?" Noelle gave us a concerned look "well me and birdly are planning to go to the library to study. I was wondering if you'd both like to come"
"Study with a bunch of nerds. I think I'll pass" Susie shrugged her off.
"Oh well come over if you change your mind" she hung her head as she walked away. I felt a pang of guilt. I knew Noelle struggled socially, she always has but I just can't bring myself to help her. Being around her's too painful.
"Are we doing this or not" Susie's annoyed tone knocked me out of my thoughts.
"We're doing this" I nodded before jumping into the void with Susie by my side..
