Kris pov
"Kris the platform is falling!" Noelle cried out as the platform shook beneath her feet.
"Hold on I've got you!" I worked with the control panel. Beeds of sweat ran down my forehead. Who knew saving someone from certain death could be so stressful!
"Oh there you are Kris" I spun around to see birdly "having trouble with a puzzle I see. Perhaps my genius intellect will be of use"
He walked towards me with a proud smile on his face. Crap he's going to see Noelle! I've gotta distract him and I know just how to do it!
"Never mind the puzzle gorgeous" I grabbed his shoulders and spun him around so my back was to Noelle "I'd find much more enjoyment in trying to figure you out"
"Puzzle-I-gorgous-me?" He stuttered as his face turned red. I guess video games never prepared him for flirting!
"You really can't handle compliments can you baby blue" I stroked his face with a chuckle. His face only became a more outrageous shade of red.
"Ekk! Is now really the time for flirting" Noelle yelped as an army of mause forced her to the next platform.
"Did you hear something?" Birdly tried to peak over my shoulder.
"Only the beating of my heart. That tends to happen when I'm around you" I winked at him.
"B-beating heart?" He pulled away "I s-still have to find Noelle. I'll go look over here bye!" He ran off before I could say anything.
"I guess I scared him off" I muttered to myself. I'll have to be mindful of that in the future.
"Forget something?" I turned around to see Noelle messy haired and cross.
I knew how to fix this. I leaned forward and brushed a strand of hair away "Sorry. I'm so relieved your safe"
"You're forgiven I guess" she tucked a strand of hair away with a bashful smile "now let's go find the others!"
