Kris pov
"Would you like to ride with me"
"Hmm?" he looked up at me in surprise "you want to ride with me? Just me?"
"Yeah if that's ok with you" I held out my hand which he happily accepted.
We sat down and the farris wheel roared to life. We slowly raised up until we were above everything.
Once it reached the top the cart shook slightly.
"Eep!" Ralsai yelped and clung to my arm. When he realised he was in no danger he moved away with a bashful look.
"Hey don't sit so far away" I scotched up closer and wrapped my arm around him "I like being close to you"
"I like being close to you too" he blushed softly "the sights up here are beautiful. I'm so glad I came to the surface world with you all"
"So am I. You have no idea how happy I am that I can see you and do all the things I love with you" I gently grasped his hand.
"Kris" a soft dusting of pink appeared on his cheeks. He lay his head down on my shoulder. I could feel my heart beating in my chest. This is the time.
"Do you know how long I've loved you" he looked up in surprise. Trying not to lose my courage I continued "ever since the first time I laid eyes on you. It's only now I have the courage to tell you"
"I don't know what to say" he muttered.
"Don't say anything. Just kiss me" I leaned forward.
"Ok!" He nodded with small tears in his eyes before wrapping his arms around me. We shared many kisses in our lifetime but this first kiss we shared in a Farris wheel will always be the most memorable one.
