Kris pov
Would you like to ride with me"
"Hmm?" She looked up at me in surprise "you want to ride with me? Just me?"
"Yeah if that's ok with you" I held out my hand which she happily accepted.
We sat down and the farris wheel roared to life. We slowly raised up until we were above everything.
"Wow we're up really high" she held onto my arm.
"Are you scared?" I asked.
"A little but in a fun kind of way" she smiled softly "when I was young I used to be so afraid of everything, like a deer caught in the headlights. Dess used to always call me a scardy cat and she was right! Now that I'm older and braver I want to break out and do something crazy!"
"Same here" I muttered. Deep down I was scared. I've known Noelle for the better part of my whole life. Am I ready to potentially ruin that? Still I'll only regret it if I do nothing.
I took a deep breath and held her hands "Noelle you're my best friend. You have been since I was a kid and you re-entering my life was the best thing that ever happened to me"
"Same here" she smiled sweetly "but Kris why are you telling me this?"
"Cause I want to ruin our friendship!" I stood up "I don't want to be your best friend Noelle I want to be your partner. What do you say?"
"I say heck yes!" She jumped into my arms, knocking me over. We laughed as we held each other close. Out of all the memories we've collected this was my favourite.
