Being a music prodigy came with great things, such as making incredible art in the form of instruments and lyrics and being able to see the world for the creativity that flowed with every day all day.

But being a prodigy wasn't taken lightly; some people loved what you could do, while others hated it, envied it and wished they could take your talent away from you.

Your ability was 'Music Manipulation'; you were able to play any instrument perfectly, you had perfect pitch, and you spent a lot of your free time making music. It brought you immense joy. You kept most of your work to yourself as your education was based on your passion, and you hoped to become a music producer in the future.

You were the reserved type, a master of your craft when alone. The school had tried multiple times to recruit you for choir, but you weren't a singer, so they tried to get you to sign up for band practice, but you couldn't play in front of others.

Your music wasn't ready to be played in front of the world, at least not yet. You were a bit of a perfectionist; continuously re-checking music sheets you would make to apply adjustments. It would drive you crazy, but when you were happy with the results, it all felt worth the frustrations and feeling like you were going insane.

You had a good friendship circle, consisting of Wednesday Addams, Enid Sinclair, Ajax Petroplus, Yoko Tanaka and Eugene Ottinger. Your enemies were Bianca Barclay, Xavier Thorpe and anybody who admired the two for being the supposed 'it' couple.

The siren wanted you in the choir; she had big plans for you, such as writing the choir's next songs, helping the members perfect their pitch of voice, and just being a general ace card on the team. You refused each time the offer was made. The siren wasn't used to being told no.

Xavier believed that with the attention his girlfriend gave you, you were trying to steal her away from him. He knew you were a prodigy, something greater than his art skills and powers could ever be. He could only manipulate his drawings and art, whereas you could construct a whole orchestra to your will if you so wished.

It had been a few months where Thorpe let his jealousy and envy simmer, building up inside him. He would always glare at you from afar, even if he was painting murals on the school walls, in class or just around the hallways. If he saw you, he instantly felt a jaundiced hatred towards you, even if all you did was exist in the same school as him.

At first, it was quick bumps on the shoulder when he'd pass you by, the halls were already crowded with students traversing through to get to their next class. But it became targeted after the third month of his spite bubbling under the surface. Pleasantries were never given by him; instead of an 'excuse me' or a 'sorry', you got 'Watch it' or 'Out of my way.'

Eventually, it became him tossing paper balls at the back of your head in classes. You would open them up at first, expecting a cheesy one-lined comment short of an insult, but what was on the paper was much worse.

It was drawings of things, scary things, such as deformed creatures staring at you, and with the boy's powers, he could make them move slowly and menacingly, like it was stalking you. You hadn't opened a paper ball from him since he drew a spider and made it jump out at you.

It was unnerving, and you didn't know what you did to deserve such torment.

It only got worse from there. He'd seek you out when you were alone, shoving you into lockers, spitting out words of venom at you to either stay away from his girlfriend or that you were worthless to the world.
