GP Wednesday.
You are a werewolf in heat and your girlfriend helps you out.
"Hey, Weds, why aren't you with Y/n right now?" Enid chirped as she walked through the door, coming back from a shopping trip with Yoko as she dumped the bags down on her bed before turning to face me.
I was currently sitting at my desk on my typewriter, the interruption wouldn't have bothered me, expect the question brought on by my roommate made me feel like I was doing something I wasn't supposed to. "Why would I be with Y/n right now?" I questioned as my fingers continued to glide across the key, their rhythmic clicking soothing my soul a tiny bit.
"Because it's her heat cycle?" Enid says carefully, only for me to stop what I was doing to spin around in my chair slowly and look at her.
"Why would I need to be with her when she's going through that?" I inquired, my voice void of emotion like usual.
You see, I had somehow managed to find love at this weird and mysterious school. Y/n L/n, another werewolf student had captured my heart after my first year of being here. We had met abruptly when I was focused on the Hyde case and exploring the woods late at night, only to see a 6-foot beast racing past me in order to annihilate the nearest deer.
The impression was gruesome and ever-lasting. It had made my sadistic heart flair with a sense of intrigue and wonder. Werewolves were known to hunt when the moon cycle reached its full peak, yet getting to see it for myself was an entirely different story, especially when my closest werewolf friend was a softie who would raise hell upon anyone who dared to threaten a 'cute cotton-tailed bun-bun' as she had described it to be.
And now almost a year into my relationship with Y/n I have found that Enid has become rather resourceful in helping me understand my lover better in terms of her wolf side. Such as the strong cravings or mood swings before a full moon, little quirks and habits werewolves usually had, such as the superiority ranking of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Y/n was an omega, whereas Enid was a Beta, so the blonde had a pretty good understanding of the three types of werewolves due to being in the neutral zone.
I had also learned about heat cycles; it was more so against my will. Even though I may have panicked when my girlfriend hadn't seen me for a whole two days straight the first time her heat kicked in a month after dating her. Enid had talked me down into a calmer state after explaining Omega wolves usually needed to be alone in those periods unless of course they willingly invited somebody over.
The whole concept of mates didn't really matter to me as I wasn't a Fur myself. Even though I remembered always being interested and mildly obsessed with werewolves, such as reading up on them in my youth, loving every story that had the creature staring in, and even siding with the 'Big Bad Wolf' in Little Red Riding Hood. So, the information provided was useful during the first few months of my relationship with Y/n after having to feel 'girlfriend withdrawals' as Enid had teased me when I expressed a longing to see my lover once again.
"Because she's your girlfriend, silly goose." She chuckled, but I only felt confused.
"But you told me a while ago not to go near her when she was in that state." I reminded her.
"Yes, that was because you were both in the early stages and didn't want to rush into anything, but it's been 9 and half months now, surely you and Y/n have slept together since then, right?" Her inquiry was innocent, yet it was enough to make my cheeks flush with an uncomfortable amount of warmth I hadn't felt since I shared my first kiss with Y/n after a date at the cemetery.
