10. Elias

I couldn't hear a single sound, even though that creature still carried me somewhere. It stopped at a swamp, which was deep inside the forest; the sunlight doesn't even reach the ground. The cocoon began to disappear around my body, revealing the creature before me. The first thing that came to my mind was...Slender man, however, a few details were different. The long slender arms have long claws, on its head it has long black hair framing a face, which was scary to look at. The eyes are widely open and the mouth showed a huge amount of razor sharp teeth, smiling at me.

The figure has quite a feminine voice, to my surprise, "I was supposed to get you to someone else, but first...I want my payment." The creature's smile widened, looking hungry at my hair, which made me fear it even more. The further it came, the more I stepped back, keeping the distance as far as possible. This black figure seems to enjoy my fear closing in on me. With one swing of its long arm, it scratched my shoulder, splattering my blood against the trees. Suddenly, it got interested at the tree, watching it with interest. It reached the branches and licked off the blood of mine. Once it was distracted, I took the chance to flee, holding my wounded shoulder tightly...and ran.

Big mistake!

It heard the movements of the grass I ran on, following me shortly after. I looked back, scared of that thing, catching up. However, without looking forward, I fell over a stone and landed in the damp grass. Now, there was no way out. It got over me and opened its mouth wide. With that size, I will be swallowed in one bite. Too much focused on the creature's teeth, I didn't see another shadow heading towards us. Whatever it is, it attacked the creature before me fighting it off. I watched from a safe distance as these two fought for their lives. The other creature was huge, and has a boned rip cage, feathers and long hair. But the most familiar thing on it, was the head...a skull with long horns.

Can it be?

The fight went on for quite a while, having them both injured badly. My kidnapper was the first to give up, crawling into the swamp, leaving nothing but silence with us. The other figure however, collapsed onto the grass, breathing heavily. Slowly, I walked towards it. "Elias, is that you?" I asked with a soft tone. The huge creature looked at me, holding his huge claw out me. I touched it slightly, looking at its eyes. No doubt about it...it was Elias. We stayed like this for a while, listening to our breathing in this quiet forest, not a wind came through there either. After a while though...he got up, "N/A, are you okay?" His voice was weak, but loud enough for me to hear. "I am fine, but what about you, your injured" he saw me scanning his body, while I moved closer to his form...only for him to step back. "Aren't you afraid of me?" I moved my head a little to the side, looking at him confused, "Why should I, you are still the Elias I know, no matter what form." I grabbed his claw, rubbing it against my cheek as an approval. His body reacted, coming closer. He leaned down to lick off my shoulder, before holding me in his arms, carrying me home.

"I can walk you know" I said, trying to get off him. "You shouldn't, at this hour the forest is too dangerous for you, it's best to keep you in my army. In case, someone tried to steal you again"

"What was that thing back then?" I asked Elias, nuzzling into the feathers.

"A neighbor, normally they don't take humans to their homes."

"Home?"

"The swamp. Something must have driven it to do such thing."

This reminded me of something it said back then, "It wanted repayment before taking me to someone."

"If that's the case, then you aren't allowed to be on your own, not until that person is found", Elias pushed me even further into his chest, covering me completely into the feathers. He didn't have to say it, it was clear that it bothers him. He might not show it with his face, but his eyes did...he feared something...something I don't know about.
