"So, did you enjoy your birthday?" Joey asked as we all piled into the living room to watch films the rest of the night.
"Sure did" I laughed.
"Good"
My dad returned to the couch after he put a movie in. I wasn't quite sure what it was, but it seemed okay at first until it started to get creepy.
"Alright. Well that's it for me" I announced while standing up and heading into the kitchen where Anne and Stephanie were planning the wedding. "Hey gu-"
My greeting was interrupted with me tripping over a shoe, resulting with me banging my hand and face on a table near me. The girls gasped and called for the guys. Not a moment later, I was sat in a chair, holding my hand while blood poured down my face.
"Ow" I whimpered.
"I'm taking you to the ER" my dad said before picking me up and rushing to the car. He didn't wait for anybody, he just put me in and we were off. "What happened?" He eventually asked after a moment of silence.
"I tripped and hit the table" I sighed heavily. He shook his head just as he pulled up to the ER that was no more than five minutes from home. We walked in, and I was immediately taken in due to my bloody face and purple hand. My dad was left in the waiting room, unfortunately for him.
About an hour later, I was walking out with my dad, my hand wrapped up and casted. We walked in silence to the car before getting in and driving home. The ride was also just as silent, if not more. I was beyond confused, but I decided to let it go before I started something.
"Are you okay?" Chris exclaimed as I walked through the door. I wasn't in the mood to speak, so I gave a small nod and stormed up to my room, left to figure out what was wrong with my dad.

"You're still playing that game?" Chris sighed as he entered the living room.
"We've been over this Chris. This is my favorite game," I started. Chris opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off, answering his question. "And yes, I play other games too"
"You're a psychic or something, child"
"I know friend, I know" I laughed, continuing on with my game. The guys didn't say we had any plans today, so I was just gonna hang out.
"Hey kid, can I talk to you?" I heard Shawn's voice ask me.
Guess I won't just hang out.
"Sure" I replied while pausing my game. I stood up and followed him out to the front porch where we took a seat on each of the chairs.
"Look, the wedding is coming up soon, and your dad wanted to make sure you were okay with it. Do you have questions?"
I thought for a moment.
"When is it exactly?"
"Two and a half weeks from today"
I nodded.
"That's all I got"
"Okay, uh you'll have to ask Steph what to wear, cause I don't know" he laughed, standing up. I followed with a nod, turning to enter the house.
Instead of returning to the living room, I ran upstairs to my room. Once I was there, I wasted no time in pulling out my phone and blaring my music through my speakers. Using that as entertainment, I started rearranging everything in my room, so it wouldn't look terrible in two weeks. Not that it mattered though, the wedding wasn't in my room anyway, but I still did it.
