••
I sat alone in my apartment, waiting for an idea of what to do to pop into my head.
My graduation wasn't the best, and I'll leave it at that. So now I'm in search to cheer myself up.
I sighed and pushed myself to stand off the couch, and walked into my kitchen where my laptop was charging.
Opening it up, I began to type up an email to the vocal coach my choir director recommended me to after my old one retired or something.
After I sent the email, I rest my head on my arms and began to debate whether I wanted to go meet my friends for the lunch they invited me to.
I decided to go ahead and go, but not too willingly. I dressed myself in jeans and a hoodie with my hair pulled up in a sloppy ponytail. With that, I grabbed my keys and walked out of my home. Jumping in my car, I started it and drove off to a cafe in town.
"So you called him?" Maddie interrogated.
I nodded and continued sipping my coffee. "What happened?""I assume he hates me." I felt the tears prickle at my eyes. "Can we drop it, please?" I quickly snapped my hand up to wipe away the stray tear that fell.
Silence fell upon us as Tom wrapped an arm over my shoulders in attempt to comfort me. Leaning into him, I continued speaking to Maddie.
"So, what're you doing today?"
"I'm gonna hang with Spencer." She wiggled her eyebrows.
"Oh gross!" I laughed. Tom rolled his eyes. I mean, it is his sister.
"I'd rather not know, Mads."
"Mhm. I know. Sorry." She giggled and began to pour a pound of sugar into her coffee.
"You're destroying it!"
"No Alex. Its nasty without it."
"Wierdo."
Tom chuckled and squeezed me. Maddie gave him an odd look with a creepy grin. I felt Tom shake his head and I looked up to see him roll his eyes.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Oh, nothing." Maddie said stirring her coffee while still giving Tom the weird look. I shook my head and drank the last bit of my drink.
"Right, well I've gotta go get a tattoo."
"Another one, Alex?"
"I've only got one!"
He shook his head with a smirk. I hugged the two and started outside to my car. Hopping in, I made a trip down to the tattoo parlor.

"Well, I've had this since I was around fifteen, and it was for my mom," I explained to the tattooist. "Although he hates me, I want one for my dad, too."
He nodded and proceeded to set up his area. I waited around until he was ready, and he began preparing my ankle for the ink. Hey, I have one on my wrist for my mom, and now I'll have one on my ankle for my dad.
The artist began to permantly ink art into my skin, sending pain throughout my leg. But hey, anything for my dad.

So I'm sorry its short. Wattpad hates me and erased the whole thing maybe three times. I'm gonna update everyday since I'm on school break. This chapter was meant to be longer, but now I have to break it up. Pleeeease forgive me and don't forget to vote and comment!
