"You sure about this, hun?" Anne's voice sounded through the phone.

I released a shaky breath and nodded although she couldn't see me.

"Positive"

"Well, okay. I'll be there in a few minutes"

"Okay. Thanks Anne"

"Anytime Alex" she said before ending the call.

I put my phone back into my pocket and made my way over to my bag. Placing it upon my right shoulder, I picked up a notepad that lay beside a pen on the nightstand. Using those materials, I wrote a note to my dad and everyone else.

By the time I had finished, I saw a car pull up half way down the street.

Anne.

Making my way over to the large window, I lifted it open and carefully climbed out, shutting it back the best to my ability.

With a glance to either side of the street, I also saw Anne waving from the drivers seat of her car. I smiled and began to run over to her.

Once my feet landed in front of the passenger door, my hand extended to open it. Softly flinging it open, I placed myself in the cushiony seat, closing the door.

"Thank you, again" I sighed, rubbing my hands down my face.

"As long as you're sure, Alex" she replied, turning to face me. I looked into her hazel eyes and nodded, giving her the signal.

With another nod from her, she turned to the road again and started down it.

Well, back to California.

Corey's POV.

"Corey, really?" Stephanie groaned, throwing her head back.

"I was just angry!" I exclaimed back, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"That's nothing to be angry about!"

"Something could've happened to her!"

"She only wanted to see it. Nothing happened to her. She was fine. Most parents should be relieved to see their child was fine, not yell at them and make them leave!"

"I didn't make her leave. It was her choice" I pointed out, trying to make a point.

"You caused her to leave" she murmured before walking out of the kitchen, leaving me alone.

The guys were all asleep, and I'm surprised they still were.

After I had gotten home with Alex, she ran upstairs to the room, and never came back down.

Stephanie ended up getting worried, and went to go check on her, but she came back with a note Alex left us before she ran away.

I sighed and placed my aching head in my hands, feeling the tears well up in my eyes as the reality finally started to sink in.

My only born child just left me. She just ran away.

The tears slowly began to roll down my cheeks as I also began to really comprehend the facts.

I was so terrible to her, and she didn't ever deserve it, nobody did. She never did anything to me, and she continued to stay with me until she finally got fed up with me.

My daughter just ran away. All because of me.

a/n - I feel terrible for this being too short again. I meant to put more in this chapter, but I'm so sick I simply can't focus.
School is kinda ruining this for me. Summer was awesome because I could update whenever, and now school is loading me with stuff to do and I'm never left with time to work on this. I'm terribly sorry guys, I hope you don't hate me, and I hope you still enjoy this story.

Anyway, feedback is amazing in my eyes! Comments and votes appreciated

Thank you guys!!
