Chapter 11: not? home alone?

~In the Chaos Dimension~

~At the trio's house during prom~

Blaze decided not to go to prom, so she stayed home. She at first wanted to train, but she thought that she didn't need training, so she lied on the couch in the living room and turned on the TV to watch a movie.

Few minutes after the movie started and Blaze enjoying it, the doorbell rang. Blaze looked at the clock, it was 12 o'clock. "Who could that be? Well, it can't be my friends because they are at prom...". Blaze stood up from the couch and went to open the door.

When she opened the door, she was so surprised that the one standing there was the one and only Shadow the hedgehog. "What are you doing here!?" She exclaimed.

"Well, I heard that you didn't go to prom, kitty. I thought why not come over, because there's no way I ever go to prom."

"Well come in!" she said as she moved out of the way. Shadow entered and closed the door behind him.

"What were you doing?" he asked.

Blaze sat on the couch and told him to sit next to her, he did so. "Well, nothing, I was just watching a movie. And I was about to fall asleep, but you rang the bell so... yeah" she said yeah as she yawned. 

"Dammit, sorry."

"That's fine Shadow, then I'm bored, I'm happy having you here now."

"Y-you are?" he asked with a blush. Blaze nodded with a smile. She yawned again, she wanted to sleep, but she can't just leave Shadow. "you're tired, aren't you?"

"Wha? no, I'm not tired." She said as she lied her head on his shoulder. "Maybe a little." Shadow chuckled and made her lay on his lap. She put her legs on the couch, said "I want to eat" but then fell asleep on him. Shadow stroked her head, precisely behind her ear, which made her purr. Shadow smiled and closed his eyes. He thought, 'She's cute.'

~After prom ((still at the trio's house))~

Blaze was still sleeping on her black hedgehog friend. Shadow was still stroking her head as he stared at her. 'What a pretty cat.' he thought. He had his phone in his hand. He looked at it and he received a message. It was from his sister: Hey Shadster. Where are you? I thought you didn't go to prom.  

Shadow: Yeah, I didn't. I'm somewhere else.

Christelle: kk bro, when do you come back???

Shadow: I don't know sis; I want some alone time.

Christelle: Ok, no problem. Have a good time bro❤️   

Shadow thought, 'she never is mean, I don't understand how but, she always has cared about me, even though I'm older or mean with her'. He looked back down at Blaze who was sleeping on his lap, he smiled.

He heard the sound of a key opening the door. "It must be Infinite and the others." he said to himself. "I don't want them to see me with her. Dammit!"
