Chapter 31: Ultimate destruction!!!

~In the Sol Dimension~

~With the gang~

"Ok guys listen" Sonic spoke, "If we want to find Blaze before anything bad happens to her, let's separate. Like that we'll have more chances to find her." 

Everyone nodded and started doing the teams. 

"I'll take Infinite." Everyone turned around to face Shadow, "What? What did I say?" He said annoyed.

"Nothing man. I'm with you then." Stated the jackal.

"I'm with her!" Exclaimed Amy and Rouge while pointing at each other.

"I'll go with Eclipse." Said Silver.

"Yeah!!!" Replied the gray and red alien.

"I WONNA GO WITH ARKUUUUUUS!!!" Scourge shouted while pointing at the white dragon who put his tongue out and started shaking his tail before jumping on the green hedgehog, "Wow! calm down big boy!" Exclaimed Scourge. And everyone started to laugh.

"Yeah! then I'm with you!!!" Screamed Sonic and Christelle in unison while smirking before doing a fist bump surrounded by lightning.

Everybody separated and started their search.

Infinite and Shadow were walking silently so that if they heard something they would be able to know from where the sound would have come. 

Shadow was as emotionless as always but was a little worried about Blaze because she was the first person that ever understood him other than his siblings. Even though he looked emotionless from the outside, he was worried inside. 

Infinite, on the other hand, showed his worry about the purple cat. Even though he could see it, Shadow didn't bother asking because he knew that it would end with an endless conversation, so he just did like he didn't notice.

Suddenly, they heard a BANG! coming from ahead. They looked at each other with a frown and took off.

When the noise was close enough, both started walking stealthily. Shadow had a hard grip on his green Chaos Emerald. Infinite took out his sword and put his free hand on his Phantom Ruby.

At the end of the hallway, there was a huge metallic door. It seemed that the noises were coming from behind it.

Shadow looked at Infinite and put three on his fingers. Infinite nodded. Shadow put two then one and they kicked the door open.

They stood inside the room on their fighting stance. Both spotted someone fighting against a dummy. Infinite's frown was harder when he saw who it was. "Zavok." He spoke under his breath. He pulled out his mask and put it on. "ZAVOK!" He called out.

The Zeti demon turned his head towards the sound. He relaxed his body and faced the two mobians. "Well, well, well. Would you look at that. The jackal and a new character."

"THE JACKAL HAS A NAME DEMON!" Infinite shouted with anger.

"Who cares. Anyways, who is this new toy you brought with you?" Zavok spoke as he waved at Shadow.

"TOY!?" Replied the black and red hedgehog. "I AM THE ULTIMATE LIFEFORM! YOU DARE CALL ME TOY!!!!?"  

"Ultimate lifeform you say? Well, I am Zavok, leader of the deadly six and you, hedgehog, are no match for me."

Shadow groaned and his grip tightened to his Chaos Emerald. "PROVE IT!" He screamed.

"Well," he laughed, "Come at me 'Ultimate Lifeform' " He spoke as he put air quotes with his hands.

Shadow charged at the Zeti who tried to catch him, but Shadow reacted faster and jumped over him throwing a Chaos Spear at the demon. He landed and watched as the Zeti stood back up.

Zavok charged at Shadow and tackled him on the ground. The hedgehog groaned and shouted, "Chaos... BLAST!"

"What?" asked Zavok before being sent flying through the room while screaming and landed headfirst. As the Zeti stood up, he charged up an energy beam in his mouth. Zavok got out of the smoke and shot his beam at Shadow who widened his eyes. "Ahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!" Zavok laughed evilly after seeing that Shadow had disappeared. 

Infinite's anger turned to rage. He closed his eyes under his mask and put his hand on his Phantom Ruby. After opening his eyes, a red energy burst fired from the Ruby. He walked slowly from the red light towards the Zeti as he flipped his sword in his hand. 

Zavok turned his head towards the jackal with an evil smile. Infinite's walk turned into a run before jumping and swinging his sword from the side at the Zeti demon. He then jumped back and landed a punch on Zavok's face. After that he kicked him on the head and punched him on the stomach. "Ooh!" was the only thing Zavok said after each blow.

Infinite jumped back and swung his sword, "haaaa!" he screamed as he landed his shot.

Zavok got angry. He stood up and punched Infinite on the stomach with incredible strength which sent the jackal smash into a wall. The jackal fell on his knees and hands. His Phantom Ruby was out of his reach on the left while his sword was way too far on his right.

The Zeti advanced slowly and was now in front of the jackal who was now at his mercy. Zavok took off Infinite's mask and threw it behind him. He charged up an energy beam, but before he could shoot it, "CHAOS... RIFT!" 

A sphere was thrown at the Zeti. The attack failed to send him into space, but it made Zavok dizzy which gave the advantage for the user to kick him away from the jackal and send him smash into the wall.

Upon hearing Zavok scream, Infinite rose his head to see Shadow standing his back facing the jackal. "Shadow? I thought you were-"

"Dead?" The hedgehog finished for him, "Tsk! Me? dead? That's a hard no for The Ultimate Lifeform."

Infinite chuckled lowly as he stood up to see Shadow handing him his mask, sword and Phantom Ruby, "Thanks." Infinite started, "But how did you survive the blast?" He asked.

"Chaos Control. I teleported at the perfect timing."  

"Well, smart move for a hedgehog." Teased Infinite.

Shadow rolled his eyes then closed them while putting his hand on Infinite's shoulder. Infinite raised a brow at the hedgehog's action. "Shadow Heal." Shadow spoke calmly while the move healed both of them. He removed his hand from Infinite's shoulder and opened back his eyes. 

The hedgehog turned his attention to the Zeti who was standing back up, "YOU TWO HAVEN'T BEATEN ME YET!!!"

Both rolled their eyes. "Let's finish this off." Shadow spoke.

"Agreed." Infinite replied.

They charged at the Zeti and jumped at the same time. 

"Roaming... CHAOS" the attack created an orb of distorted space that Shadow lunched at Zavok to trap him while both landed the final blow 

Infinite held his sword over his head and Shadow prepared a Chaos Spear.

Both shot their attacks at the same time, "Haaaaaa!" They screamed as they shot their shot.

Zavok finally fell unconscious.

"Well, that was easy." Remarked Shadow while landing as he watched Zavok's body on the ground.

"Hah!" replied the jackal. "Let's go find Blaze now."

"Uhum"

They walked out of the room and back into the castle's hallways. Infinite wanted to tease Shadow so, "Can I ask you a question?"

"Depends." Shadow spoke back.

"What do you think of Blaze?" He smirked.

"Uh..." He blushed, "She's fine."

Infinite raised a brow at Shadow's answer with a smirk and they continued on their search.

Ok, yeah. I want to finish this story but it's gonna take a while so, yeah.
