Chapter 27: Finding them!

~In the Sol Dimension~

~With Blaze, Shadow, and Sonic~

~Blaze POV~

We were walking carefully in my castle's corridors. Shadow had a hard grip on his Chaos Emerald ready to blast any threat while Sonic was just walking sarcastically with his grin on his lips, hehe, he makes me laugh.

My giggling caught Shadow's attention, so he stared at me while we were walking. I turned my head, and my eyes met his. Shadow turned his head quickly away which made me giggle again. This hedgehog is pretty mysterious.

Anyways, we continued to walk cautiously. Then, we heard someone scream at someone else it seems. But then I noticed Shadow rolling his eyes so I decided to ask him. "Shadow?" I said calmly. He turned his head to me and waited for me to say something. "What were you rolling your eyes at?"

"What? Oh, I recognize this voice and especially the style of speech." He answered my question with an emotionless look on his face.

"Then who is it?" I asked again. Sonic was just watching us with an expression that showed that he knew who it was.

"It's surely the one and only night-fury." Sonic said smoothly which made me giggle. Shadow nodded at Sonic's statement.

"Then let's follow her voice to find everyone." I said trying to hide my excitement on seeing Infinite and Scourge again. I know it's just been few hours, but it feels like I haven't seen them in years! Anyways, I was successful hiding my excitement and we followed the voice to find our friends.

Minutes later, Sonic interrupted the silence by saying, "Um... Blaze, that's your castle, you should know where the dungeons are."

"Yes, but the thing is, Eggman Nega has changed mostly every part of the castle. So I can't recognize anything." I explain and Sonic nods.

While we continued to follow Christelle's voice, Shadow asked me, "So, this castle wasn't all made out of metal and stone? how did it look like?"

"Oh it was beautiful!" I answered his question, "The mountains behind the castle were full of flowers. There were three waterfalls. Two on both sides and one in the middle filling the river that surrounds the castle." I continued with a relaxed look on my face, "The castle was mainly white but with dark purple and pink designs on the walls, on the outside and inside. In some of the corridors, there would be flame paintings." I said remembering them, when Infinite Scourge and I always walked around the castle or ran towards our duties. "This place wasn't anything like what you see now." I spoke my last words with a hint of anger in my tone.

"Wow! that sure looked like an awesome castle!" Sonic exclaimed with a slight tone of excitement. Shadow nodded as well as I did. But unlike Shadow, I smiled at the Blue Blur.

Christelle's voice became louder to our ears, so we started running down the halls to find the staircase that leads down to the dungeon.

~Narrator POV~   

~in the dungeons, with the rest of the gang~

Each two were in a cell. Infinite with Christelle in front of Rouge and Eclipse who were next to Silver and Scourge, and in front of them were Arkus and Amy.

Christelle was attached to the bars of her cell arguing with Rouge about things. "I. am. NOT. Stupid!" Christelle snaped at Rouge who was sitting on a bench in her cell. The white bat was looking at her nails while arguing with the night-fury.

"Yes you are." the ivory bat snapped back calmly. "And it's your fault if we got captured." She said changing her gaze to the night-fury then back at her nails.

"How come it's my fault! psh! who am I kiddin... OF COURSE IT AIN'T MY FAULT!!! and if it was, at least I didn't faint at the beginning of the damn fight!!!"  

"Ugh..."

"You're so annoying Rouge." Christelle whispered under her breath.

Infinite walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder which made her look up with an annoyed face. He smiles and spoke, "Let it go, Rouge is like that."

The night-fury pushed his hand of her "Buh! Huh! iyk! Haaaah! Ugh..." Christelle calmed her anger by sighing hardly. "Sorry Infinite." She said turning her gaze to the ground.

"It's fine. You were pissed off. Don't worry." He said calmly with a caring tone in his voice.

Christelle smirked at Infinite, took a glance from Rouge and went to sit on the bench that was in the cell while walking sarcastically. Infinite followed and sat next to her with a small laugh.

Rouge looked at them with an evil smirk then she spoke for them to know and at the same time to not know what she was saying, "Ahem lovers Ahem" 

"Oh I am sooo going to rip your wings off!!!" Christelle screamed as she went back to her grip on the cell bars trying to reach Rouge by shaking her hand through the bars.  And the bat just contented to stay on the bench in her cell and look at her nails. And Infinite rolled his eyes at the two arguing girls while the rest of the gang laughed.

~Few moments later~

"Would you please, please stop shouting." Rouge said annoyed.

"I won't! And if I would, I'd have stopped a million hours ago!" Christelle replied angrily.

"Ugh why don't you just shut y-" Rouge started but was interrupted by someone.

"Arguing I see. Would you like for us to wait or to do what we always do?" The someone said.

All of the gang's ears twitched at the voice of the mysterious person. They all looked in the direction of the voice and a huge smile formed on their faces. "Blaze!!!" All of them exclaimed in unison while standing up and walking next to the bars. Arkus on the other hand, roared loud while shaking his tail. Blaze smiled at his action.

"So, do you guys want me to break you out or to open the cages with a key?" Blaze abused trying to imitate the Blue Blur who smirked knowing what she was doing.

Infinite giggled, "Well, I'd like it if you burned the bars~" he said.

The lavender cat smirked wide and broke each bar of each cage. Scourge and Infinite hugged their best friend before doing anything else. When they stopped and moved away, Arkus jumped on Blaze making her fall on her back. He had his tongue out shaking his tale. He roared loudly and got off his rider. Blaze stood up dusting herself while laughing brightly. Everyone else giggled at Arkus' action.

Suddenly, the alarms went on and everyone looked around to see if anything was coming at them. Blaze, Infinite and Scourge got in their fighting stance followed by Christelle and Eclipse then everyone else stood ready to fight.  

Few of them moved their heads around while the others only moved their eyes. Blaze was sweeting moving her eyes around. Her left ear twitched and she gasped lowly so that no one hears her. She frowned.

Then something jumped on her from behind. She turned her head slowly then widened her eyes. The figure caught her but before it could take her away, she throwed the gray Sol Emerald to Infinite who caught it.
