Chapter 35: A duo with sarcasm

~In the Sol Dimension~

~With Sonic and Christelle~

As they walked through the dark hallways of the castle, Sonic hummed a tune with his eyes closed.

"Whatcha hummin' Sonic?" The night-Fury asked her hedgehog friend and tilted her head with curiosity visible in her eyes.

The hedgehog stopped humming to look at her. He smiled "Nothin' much. I just made up a song in my head, I'm really bored that's why."

"Mind sharin' it with meh?" She smirked.

Sonic put his signature grin on, "On one condition," The girl nodded, "You sing a song you did after mine."

She huffed then replied, "Fine..."

Sonic smirked and pulled out his guitar from his necklace.

Christelle watched him wide eyed with her mouth slightly open. They kept walking as Sonic sang and played on his guitar.

Sonic finished his song on his knees, eyes squeezed close and with his signature grin on his lips.

"Wow!" Christelle was star-struck by his song. "You got so many good lyrics dude!".

Sonic stood up with a blush as he didn't make eye contact with his friend. "I mean... it's not that good." He trailed off, "... I could do better...".

"Give meh that guitar! I'll show you!" She exclaimed as she took Sonic's guitar and ran ahead.

She kept jumping, turning and walking backwards as she sang. The night-fury put her crazy personality aside as she put all her emotions in the song. The hedgehog watched in awe.

When she finished her song, she stopped walking and leaned on the wall, "It's not as good as any celebrity would actually wright a song but..." She expended her arm for Sonic to take his guitar after she finished talking.

"Are you kidding!? It's so good!" Sonic exclaimed as he took his guitar from her and turned it back into his necklace.

Silence.

"Kiks?" He asked worried.

Nothing. She looked as if she was gonna explode.

"Hey, you ok?" He asked again. He lifted his hand to put it on her shoulder but was interrupted.

"OKOK! Fiiiine!!!" She stopped to calm down. She got off the wall and started walking, "I'll admit it. I'm... AWESOOOOOOME!!!!" She screamed as she turned to face Sonic in a jump with her hands held up.

The blue hedgehog started laughing and walked over to her. "It's true. Now come on we gotta find Blaze."

Christelle nodded and both started to laugh as they walked away. Not ten steps did they make, a ball of fire was shot on the ground right in front of them. They gasped and looked ahead to find Blaze standing in front of them.

"Blaze!" They both exclaimed with a smile. But before neither of the three could make any step, Christelle's ear communicator started ringing. "Huh? Hello?"

"Christelle! Thank goodness you answered!" said the voice on the other side of the communicator.

"Rouge? ... Are you ok?" She asked confused.
