Chapter 12: Shadow!?

~In the Chaos Dimension~

~At the trio's house~

 Infinite opened the door with his keys. All four teenagers entered the house with sad faces. Amy went directly upstairs. Scourge went to the kitchen. Infinite went to the bathroom. Sonic walked slowly to the living room talking to himself, "Ra! shouldn't have gone to prom! why did I even bother! I could've stayed here with Bl-" Sonic stopped when he saw Shadow on the couch with Blaze. "What da heck are ya doin here Shad!!! ... And more importantly, what up with her!?"

"Long story." Shadow replied.

"Kk Shad."

"Hey, you seem... angry?" the black hedgehog asked.

"Yeah, I am, it's just!" he exhaled, "shouldn't have gone to prom."

"Well... I've been trying to convince you not to go. But no, nobody wants to listen."

"Yeah, I should've listened... sorry Shad." Sonic apologized. Shadow nodded and looked back at Blaze who was still on his lap. Sonic walked and sat in between the couch and the table in front of Shadow and Blaze. "So, how did that happen?"

"Well-"

"What da freak!? Whatcha doin here Shadow!?" It was Scourge coming in the living room. "Ya havin a sleepover too!!!"

"What's going on in here. Why are you screaming Scourge!!! there are neighbors that are sleep- Shadow!?" Infinite exclaimed. "What the!?"

"What's happening guys? I heard screaming an- Shadow!?" Amy came in the room. 

Shadow rolled his eyes at everyone. "What? you guys surprised that I'm here or something?"

"Well yeah, we didn't know you were coming." Amy said.

"And plus, what is up with Blaze?" Infinite asked.

"It's a story for another day... and I can leave if you don't want me here." Shadow lamented.

"Wha!? Nah Shad! stay here man!! Why would ya wonna leave!?" Scourge exclaimed.

"Well, you all seem that you don't want my company." Shadow continued. "And then-" he was interrupted by his phone. He wasn't going to answer.

"So, you won't answer that call, will ya?" Sonic began.

"Nah, it's Eclipse. I never bother answering because the only thing that he is going to say is 'bring me pizza', so I don't bother." 

After all the teenagers trying to convince Shadow to stay, he accepted. 

Blaze woke up. ((no one was in the living room other than her and Shadow because everyone was already asleep)). She opened her eyes slowly to see herself sleeping on Shadow's lap. She lifted her head to see Shadow looking at her. He smiled and stroked her back. 

Blaze then spoke, "Did the others come back yet?"

"Yeah, they did, you were sleeping when they came back. They're all asleep." He answered her.

"Um, (blushes)... did I like... p-purr..." she says embarrassed.

"Hah... yeah you did." he says with a teasing tone in his voice.

"Dammit." she whispered really lowly, and he didn't hear. "Am I bothering you?"

"Not at all. It feels good, because you're the first person that didn't hate me. So, spending time with you will always make me happy... I? Guess???"

Blaze smiled and put her head back on his lap. Shadow then started to stroke her behind her ear. She purred and fell asleep again.
