Chapter 38: Regroup people!

~In the Sol Dimension~

~With Sonic and Christelle~

"Thank you for the informa-" He stopped himself from saying anything else once he heard voices outside the room. He frowned and crossed his arms waiting for the two teenagers to be distracted to make a run for it. Once Sonic and Christelle turned their heads to where the door used to be, the doctor ducked under his desk and pulled open a trap door.

Oh well. It was too good to be true.

"Silver! Eclipse!" Sonic and Christelle exclaimed in unison as they ran ahead and gave the two others a group hug.

Once they let go, Silver asked, "Wow, what happened here?"

"We found the Egg! Look he's over-" Christelle cut herself after turning and noticing that the doctor was gone, "There...?"

"WHERE'D HE GO!?" Sonic shouted as he put both his hands on his head, "Nononononono NO!"

"Wait. You found him?" Eclipse asked and started to walk around the room and stopped behind the desk, "There's no way he ran away. There's no other exit than this one..." He trailed off and started analyzing his surroundings, "Unless..."

"THERE'S A SECRECT PASSAGE!" Christelle finished for her brother and went to stand on the desk. She darted her eyes around. 

Sonic's ears perked up again and he turned his head towards the entrance. It was Shadow and Infinite who came in next. "Shadz! Infinite! Hiya guys!" Sonic exclaimed. Shadow rolled his eyes.

"What did you two do." Shadow asked emotionlessly as he looked around the trashed room. He noticed his sister and brother. 'Are they searching for something?' he thought then walked over to them. "What are you two doing?" He asked curiously.

"Sonic and sis found the doctor, but he somehow escaped." Eclipse stated and Christelle nodded.

"Great job." Shadow said with a bit of sarcasm.

Christelle removed her attention from her brothers and kept searching for something suspicious. 'If I was an ugly talking egg... where would I be hiding?'  She thought as she kept looking. Then an idea popped in her head and she called out for Sonic.

The hedgehog walked over to her and tilted his head. Christelle sat down on the desk and spoke, "Last time, when we were fighting Eggman at Sally's castle, you found a secret passage. Where was it?"

Everyone in the room turned their attention to the night-fury and hedgehog. "It was... under a desk. Why you ask?" He answered.

"Eclipse, check under the desk." Christelle said as she got off the desk and stood next to Eclipse. The darkling bent down and to his surprise, there was a trap door.

He widened his eyes and looked back up at his sister, "How did you know?"

"Oh, nothing much. It's just a hint." Christelle replied and pulled open the trap door, it seemed as if it led to an underground tunnel. The night-fury smirked to herself and spoke again, "Let's wait for the others before we go in there." 

"You never stop surprising me, sister." Shadow spoke with a smirk.

"It's in mah blood dude." Christelle replied before winking.

She didn't notice that a jackal not too far standing next to Silver, had a shocked expression on his face and a hint of a red color on his cheeks.

"HIYA PEOPLEEEEEEE!" Everyone jumped at the sudden scream and looked over to the 'not only entrance' to find two familiar faces. Yup, Scourge and Arkus. 

Arkus facepalmed and walked in first relieved to not be the only one being annoyed by the green hedgehog anymore. 

"So where's BLAZE!" he exclaimed and looked around the room noticing that Amy and Rouge where still missing. "And where are Amy and Rouge?" he asked again.

Everyone looked at Sonic and Christelle. "Blaze is with Rouge and Amy. And the three of them are coming over from the base." Sonic stated.

"So they found her at the base?" Silver asked, a bit confused.

"Nope. We found her here." Christelle answered.

"Then how is she with the girls, at the base?" Eclipse asked this time.

"Because Christelle teleported and gave Blaze to Amy and Rouge because we don't want to carry her around." Sonic is the one to answer next. Everyone looked lost.

And Shadow spoke next, "So you secretly sneaked up on Knuckles and took ANOTHER Chaos Emerald?"

"Pfff nah. I have my Moon Emerald." Christelle said proudly. Everyone's jaw dropped ((except Sonic)) and stared at the night-fury awkwardly, "Seriously? ... DID NONE OF YOU ACTUALLY NOTICE IT ON MY BACK THIS WHOLE TIME!?" She exclaimed. Few seconds of awkward silence passed and Christelle decided to say, "You know what? ... NEVER MIND!!!" 

"Seems like somebody is angry." The gang heard a sly voice coming from the doorway, they turned their heads and saw Rouge with Amy, a new person and BLAZE.

Scourge, Infinite and Arkus smiled at the sight of their friend AND her brother. Infinite was the first to speak, "Hey Jet."

"Jet?" everyone left in the room said his name out loud with a brow raised.

"Yep, that's me!" The hawk said as he smiled widely at the teenagers in the room. "Ooh! ain't ya the two that found my sis?" Jet said mentioning to Sonic and Christelle.

"Yas man!" Christelle said while Sonic gave a thumbs up with a wink.

"'Sis'? Blaze has a brother?" Shadow asked as he walked over to Jet and the unconscious Blaze that laid in his arms. The hawk nodded and the rest of the gang gasped.

"Wait a damn minute!" Sonic and Christelle spoke at the same time, "you are her brother!?" they kept speaking in unison.

Shadow rolled his eyes and put his hand on Blaze's cheek. "Wait! You guys didn't tell that Blaze found a boyfriend!" Jet exclaimed as he snapped his head over to Rouge and Amy.

The hedgehog blushed madly and removed his hand from Blaze's cheek. "That's because I'm not." Shadow spoke calmly as he shook away the warmth present on his face.

"I have three words to describe what the hell just happened," Christelle spoke up, "disgusting, gross and inexcusable." She said as she counted the words on her fingers.

"Don't these words have the same meaning?" Amy asked with sarcasm.

Christelle shrugged and said, "who knows."

Shadow coughed and asked, "can we get going now?"
