Chapter 24: interesting plan

~In the Sol Dimension~

~with Blaze, Sonic, and Shadow~

They were sitting on the hills' grass in a circle trying to make up a plan to save their friends and destroy Eggman Nega.

Blaze sat her legs crossed, her elbows on her knees with her hands supporting her head. She had her eyes closed as she tried hard to make up at least something for a plan.

Shadow watched her closely with a bit of concern in his heart. He wanted to talk to her but, Sonic had to be here, and this made Shadow annoyed. So, Shadow just contented to watch her.

Blaze clenched her teeth and slammed her right hand on the ground next to her with anger. She then hissed "WHY CAN'T I JUST MAKE UP A PLAN!!!". She inhaled and exhaled angrily then opened her eyes and turned her gaze to the moon.

"Blaze." a voice said firmly from next to her. She turned her head to Sonic who was looking at her seriously. "You can't make up a plan. And yes, I can see that." He trailed off. "You know what..." he said as he stood up. Blaze still had her eyes fixed on him. "I have to ask you this one and only question. Would you let me?"

She closed her eyes then opened them, "Yes."

"Do you trust me?" He said as he put his hand in front of Blaze for her to take it. She looked at him shocked by his question. "Blaze. I want an answer, once and for all."  

"Of course I do, you're the one I trust the most between all our friends." She spoke.

"Then, take my hand." He said with his signature grin on his face. Blaze smiled and took his hand to stand up. 

Shadow stood up with a bit of jealousy but shook it off. "So, what do we do?"

Sonic smirked to Shadow. "What we always do."

For the first time in a while, Shadow felt lit up. He formed a smirk on his face. 

Blaze was now confident thanks to Sonic 'Oh Sonic, you always find a way to make me feel better'.

"WAAAAAIT!!!" Sonic screamed which interrupted Blaze's thoughts. "DID YOU JUST SMILE SHADZ!!!" Sonic exclaimed. Shadow turned his head quickly to face the blue blur. "But wait a sec Shadz... you were smiling while facing the kitty cat. OhMyGod man!!! Do you-"

"Care to finish that sentence." Shadow cut Sonic off while holding a Chaos Spear in his left hand. Sonic rose his hands in the air sarcastically. 

Blaze giggled in the background. "Are we going or are we going to stay here." She said still giggling. 

Shadow blushed then shook it off, "We're going."

Sonic nodded.

They then slid down the hill and dashed to the base.
