Chapter 13: Last day before the brawl

~In the Chaos Dimension~

~At the trio's house~

Blaze opened her eyes. She looked at the clock and it was 7:00 am. She got off Shadow's lap. He was still sleeping.

She went to the kitchen to drink hot water. There was silence in the house, everyone was still asleep. Blaze sat on the kitchen table with her hot water glass in her hand. She started to drink slowly from her glass until, "Hey kitty, you didn't tell me that you were awake."

He scared Blaze which made her spit her water. "What the heck! You scared me! Don't. Sneak up on me like that next time!!!"

Shadow rolled his eyes with a smile then took a glass of water and sat on the table. He watched Blaze wipe the water she spit out. 

When she finished, she sat back down next to Shadow and started, "Are you ready to go to my dimension."

"Psh, you bet I am." He answered. Blaze nodded with a worried expression. Shadow looked at her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to be worried about me, I'm the Ultimate Life Form." He spoke. Blaze chuckled lowly then looked at him with a small smile. 

And then suddenly, "MORNIN HOTTSTUFF!!!!!!". 

Blaze and Shadow turned their heads quickly to see Scourge standing at the door widely smiling with his hands on his hips. Blaze laughed hardly as she stood up to hug her best friend. When they stopped hugging, they smirked to each other then looked at Shadow. He was confused about their smirk. Blaze gestured him to come with her and Scourge.

They went to the garden. When they reached, Scourge went to one side of the garden and Blaze to the other. "Watch and learn." Blaze said to Shadow as smoke came out of her hands and legs. Scourge smirked and he lit green flames in his hands.

Scourge charged at Blaze. He used his green flames. He shot three. But only one managed to hit Blaze. She used her ability to do a back handspring to jump over Scourge who was charging at her. Scourge looked behind him to see Blaze land. 

They looked at each other with a smirk. Then, both charged at each other "Haaa" They both yelled. And suddenly, Infinite came out of nowhere, "What's going on here! You woke me up!" he spoke. Scourge and Blaze where still running towards each other, but they were both looking at Infinite so BOOM! They smashed into each other and fell on their backs.

Shadow stood up quickly as he laughed at the crash of Blaze and Scourge. Infinite put his hand on his mouth as he was going to explode of laughter.

~In the meantime, in the kitchen~

Amy was awake and went to the kitchen to drink water. She stood in front of the water dispenser as she drank from her glass. After she drank all the water, she said to herself, "Where is everyone?". She put her glass in the sink and went to see if Sonic was still asleep. 

She entered Blaze's room and didn't see Sonic sleeping on the sofa. She looked around the room and noticed him brushing his teeth in the bathroom. "Here you are!" Amy exclaimed. Sonic turned his head to see Amy at the door. He smiled at her. After he finished brushing his teeth, he told Amy to wear her clothes before him.  

After they both were ready, they went downstairs. First to the kitchen because Sonic wants to drink water. Both didn't find anyone in the house, so they decided to check the garden.

When they went outside, they found Scourge and Blaze sitting on the grass giving death glares to the laughing Infinite and Shadow. "Wha happened here?" Sonic spoke. Scourge and Blaze side eyed him then their gazes went back to Infinite and Shadow. 

Shadow then chuckled lowly and went to help Blaze up. "Thanks, but I don't need your help to stand up." Blaze said as she stood up without Shadow's help. Scourge then stood up and went to Sonic. He spoke, "Nothin happened other than Blaze and me trainin for the fun of it. But Infinite had to show up and distract us for us to crash into each other." Sonic started to laugh and then stopped because Amy was frowning at him. Infinite walked to them while laughing lowly. 

They then were joined by Shadow and Blaze who were smiling to each other. Sonic started, "Are you two flirtin or somethin?". Shadow gave him a death glare which made Sonic raise his hands up in the air. Blaze chuckled and went next to Infinite. Then Sonic asked, "Um, when are the others gonna come to train with us?".

"They are not." Blaze answered him. Sonic was confused because he thought that they were coming. "They are coming tomorrow afternoon, for all of us to go to my dimension when the sun goes down. We're gonna hang out tomorrow."

"So only us training today?" Sonic asked again. Blaze, Infinite and Scourge nodded.

~Elsewhere~

At G.U.N, Christelle and Eclipse were training. "Hey Eclipse!!" Christelle started. "We gotta train real good cause tomorrow we've got a big fight." Eclipse agreed to what she said. They both were already fighting against each other.

~Elsewhere~

Rouge was at her house. She was standing in front of her wardrobe. "What am I going to wear for tomorrow?" She said to herself. Her phone then rang. "Oh!". Rouge answered, and it was Knuckles. "Oh my gosh! Hey Knuxy!!! What are you doing! ... What? I can't tomorrow. ... Well, I already- No Knuckles I'm not cheating on you. ... NO!!! OF COURSE NOT!!! Knuxy, I'm going to fight alongside with Blaze. I already told you. ... Yeah, you see. ... Of course we can talk now. ... Um, yeah, you got me, I am choosing what to wear for tomorrow, you know me so well.". They entered a long, long call.

~Elsewhere~

Silver was hanging out with Tikal. "Silver, you told me that you are going to help Blaze at something. What is it?" She asked him as they were walking together in the parc.

"Well, she told us that a villain took over her dimension. So, her, Infinite and Scourge had to leave. And the others and I are going to help her take her kingdom back."

"Oh, ok. You promise you'll be careful."

"Of course! I promise."

~ Back at the trio's house~  

Sonic was making everyone laugh, "I am Eggman! Mwahahahahaaa! And the thing I do most tantararaaa iiiizzz.... SHAVE MY HAIR!!! Yes yes that is, nyihihi... BECAUSE I WANT TO BE BALD! And yes, I love to destroy the blue hedgehog Hoohoo. But the only thing inevitable is his foot kicking my butt." Sonic said the last sentence pointing at his butt. Everyone was laughing expect Shadow. "I am going to KILL THE BLUE HEDGEHOG! NYAHAHA!" Sonic went to the other side, "Oh no... Eggman is gonna kill me. Someone save me from dying, oh no..." he said with an abusing tone. 

Everyone was laughing until, "I can make you laugh even more." Shadow intruded. Blaze and Infinite looked at each other then chook their head.

"Psh... go and watch Infinite and Blaze fighting over ice-cream." Scourge added. Everyone laughed. Shadow looked at Infinite and Blaze in disbelief. The two started to laugh at each other while pointing at each other. Shadow raised a brow as he crossed his arms.  

After everyone had fun, they went to the dining table to eat lunch. After that they passed their entire afternoon training in the garden.

The night came and everyone went to bed. Shadow and Blaze slept in the living room like the other day, because Shadow didn't want to sleep with Infinite or Scourge and Blaze told Amy to sleep in her bed. But this time, Blaze slept at the window couch and Shadow on the couch.
