Chapter 39: Let's find him!

~In the Sol Dimension~

~With the gang~

The kids went down the ladder through the trapdoor. Once in the secret underground corridor, Sonic spoke, "Um guys, I think we're gonna have to divide into two teams." He said as gestured to the two ways.

Everyone nodded. "We need to choose team leaders as well." Shadow stated.

"Who cares about having a leader." Christelle blurted out which made her earn glares from the rest of the gang, and especially Shadow. "Fine, fine team leaders it is."

Shadow spoke right after Christelle to say, "I'm one of the team leaders. I'll choose my team." 

"Ok! I'm the sec-" 

"I'm the other team leader!" Christelle interrupted Sonic. "And I start choosing my team before Shadster."

Sonic started to whine, "But I wanted to be team leader!"

Christelle chuckled a little and started picking, "Alright! I pick for my number one... DRUM ROLL PLEASE... Sonic!" Sonic said 'yes' in a whisper as he walked over to Christelle who nodded at her brother.

Shadow nodded back, "Blaze." He said simply gesturing for Jet to give him the girl. The hawk walked over to Shadow and put the cat in the hedgehog's arms.

"INFINITE!" Christelle exclaimed as she threw her hands up in the air. The jackal blushed but walked over next to her. ((Good thing he's wearing his mask! XD))

Shadow frowned at his sister who smirked back, "Eclipse." He said still eying his sister. Eclipse walked over to Shadow.

"ROU-OUUUUUGE" She sang sarcastically waiting for the bat to walk over to her. The white bat rolled her eyes with a smile and walked to her leader.

"Arkus." Shadow said the next name carelessly as his gaze went to the sleeping cat. Arkus walked over and nudged Shadow playfully. 

"Silvz!" Christelle exclaimed again as she pointed at the white hedgehog. He walked over next to her and both grinned at each other.

Shadow sighed and gestured for Scourge to come on his team. The green hedgehog walked over and stood next to Arkus.

"Aaaaames! come 'ere guuuuurl!!!" Christelle shouted.

"Keep it down!" Amy exclaimed as she walked over to the mobian night-fury. 

Christelle rolled her eyes and looked over at Jet with a smirk, "Good luck with my brother dude. You're gonna witness some disgusting stuff." she spoke up as Jet walked over to Shadow who rolled his eyes. Once he was next to the black and red hedgehog, he looked back at Christelle and shrugged.

"Alright, let's get going." Shadow said as he turned and took the right, followed by his team.

"Okay. Guys, listen. We're gonna make that trip fun!" Christelle stated and started walking to the left. Sonic grinned and was the first to follow Christelle, followed by Silver, Amy, and Rouge.

Infinite stood still as he watched the rest of his team walk away. His gaze went to the night-fury who had her hands behind her head as she walked. He smiled and ran ahead towards his team.

~Time skip~

Shadow's team was silent as they walked through the dark secret corridor. Blaze still hasn't woken up and Shadow was getting worried about it. He lifted his gaze away from the cat to the front.
