Lucifer couldn't sleep. It was one more day until Extermination day. They knew from the previous year that the Angels could be killed with their own weapons so Carmilla crafted special weapons for each Overlord, Charlie, Vaggie, Ash and Nifty each. Sighing softly, the King of Hell got up, walking over to his window and lit a cigarette, leaning against the railing when he'd walked out to the building. He looked over Hell, smiling a little bit to himself when he heard familiar radio static.

"Did Charlie send you up?" he asked with a chuckle. Alastor hummed in response, standing beside the King of Hell.

"I am worried about my brother," he spoke softly, looking at the horizon. Alessia appeared beside Alastor from the shadows, saluting Lucifer in her greetings towards the king. She softly gave Alastor a hug, knowing how afraid he was and how worried he was about Ash. She grew up with the two brothers when they were alive and they helped one another through the Great Depression, so she understood how he was feeling right now. She looked over the balcony and grinned before jumping, being a spider demon, she was able to hang from her webs. Alessia was a spider sinner, having been killed the same night that she found Alastor dead in the woods. She died from a dagger to the chest, having been killed from Anthony's hand himself, anger and sorrow had filled him with rage so he attacked. She couldn't blame him. She hadn't told anyone this. No one knew and she planned to keep it that way. She knew that Anthony was under contract with Valentino and there wasn't much that anyone could do. Well, Charlie or Lucifer could help out but they didn't know. Alessia always moved quickly, sometimes called "spider" when they were alive, so the nickname stuck and her Hell form was as a spider. Like Angel's form, but she had a tail that was tucked into her waistcoat nine times out of ten. Her full demon form was scarry. All eight eyes would open and she'd form into a black widow, claws out and enraged.

"Ales..." Alastor sighed and looked anywhere but his friend. She looked between him and the king, shrugging.

"Oh, come on. It's fine. Plus, I won't die," she said with a laugh, swinging a little. She noticed that didn't help improve his mood so she moved to sit on the balcony with him. After a second's hesitation, Alastor disappeared into the shadows. Alessia sat with Lucifer on the balcony of the palace.

"What's his deal?"

"... A lot happened when we were just tots, y'know... There was the Depression, plus Al's radio broadcast, us youngins. His dad wasn't the best you know... Ma was wonderful, pure angel she was," she smiled, remembering the good times when they were alive. She looked down at her gloved hands before sighing and took them off. She showed her hands to Lucifer.

"I found Al dead in the forest when he was shot... Ash hadn't known Al was a cannibal. He's two years younger than Al, so at the time he was playing piano at home. I knew something was up because Rosie had told me she came across him in the bar..." She wiped her eyes, the scars on her hands and arms were from when she had accidentally kept running through the woods to find Alastor. She was too late. He'd already taken his final breath when she reached him. She hadn't know what to feel. She told her tale to Lucifer.

~~~
Alessia ran. She ran into the woods. Rosie was looking after Ash. Granted the younger male was playing piano and knew how to take care of himself, Ash still knew how protective Alastor was and never wanted his sibling to get hurt in any way possible. She followed her friend's path that she knew he took into the woods, knowing where he would hunt and knowing where he would sometimes bury the corpses of his victims. She hissed in pain, the tree branches scraping her arms as she ran further into the darkened woods. The only light came from the candle she had in her hands. Hot wax dripped into the circle dish that was holding the candle upright.
"Alastor?!" she called, searching between the trees to try and find her cannibalistic friend. She turned and stepped on a twig, snapping it under her heel. She jumped at the sudden sound and looked around her to see if an animal had run past her. Breathing heavily, she quickly walked further into the woods. The air was chilly. Winter was on its way. The only thing keeping her warm was the warmth that emitted from the candle she was holding and her own body heat. Shivering, Alessia worked her way through the winding and twisty paths. As the woman walked further into the woods, she mistook a step and slipped down the hill, tearing her skirt in the process.
"Sacré bleu," she swore in French, picking herself up and dusted herself off. Without a light, she couldn't see anything but she did see something in the distance, and it wasn't too far either. It was dark, but she could feel blood trickling down an open wound from her fall earlier. Moving quickly on her feet, she stumbled over a rock but quickly got up and headed in the direction of the light she saw. Slowing down when she saw a still figure on the ground. A lighted candle near the end of its wick. She moved slowly, taking in what she saw.
"Alastor..?" she questioned softly, kneeling beside him, wiping her hands (which were covered in her own blood) on her skirt, she brought her cold friend to her chest, holding him in a tight hug. She knew she'd been too late. He was cold. Too cold. Alastor ran cold but this wasn't his normal temperature and Alessia knew that so she could only assume the worst that had happened. Alessia looked at her friend, pushing his bangs back and frowned when she saw where the bullet had hit. She saw his glasses and placed them gingerly on his face.
"Al..." she whispered, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, tears threatening to spill. She laid him on the bed of dead leaves and stood up, lighting the candle again and put it inside of the lamp. Unsure what more to do, she could only think of one thing and that was to lay her best friend for his final slumber. With the cold nipping at her nose and hands, she felt numb and felt as if she was on autopilot. Picking up the shovel, she dug a grave. Six feet in the ground, she pulled herself up, hissing when dirt got into her wounds. She piled dirt and leaves to make a bed in the grave she'd made for Alastor. With a final look at him, she couldn't bring herself to bury him, so she didn't. She buried her friend's victim's corpse instead. Setting the shovel down, she picked up the lamp and carefully carried Alastor up the hill and into the graveyard that was a little ways from where she was. She lay him carefully on the cold grass and picked up the shovel once more from where it rested on a nearby grave. Breaking a piece of concrete and grabbing the hammer and chisel, she carved something into the grave.
Alastor Hartfelt
May 2, 1910 - November 28, 1933
"He's such a sweetheart," -Alessia
"May be my older brother, but you're a prick sometimes... Love you anyway,"- Ash
"Strawberry babe. Always and forever, yeah?" -Anthony
Alessia knew this would be what everyone would say. She wasn't sure about Rosie so she left her out, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand again. She set the chisel down and set the stone above the grave she made for her friend before she gently laid him down on the bed of dirt and leaves. She placed a kiss on his forehead before she had let him rest for all eternity.
"See you on the other side, my friend," she whispered softly, covering the corpse with dirt before making sure everything was set in order and headed back on the path. She wasn't sure how to break the news to Rosie or Ash... Anthony. How in all things possible was she going to tell Anthony...? The poor boy was in New York recently and always called in when Al's radio show was on. She was so lost in thought that she didn't hear Rosie calling her inside. She saw the seamstress and frowned a little bit, knowing she looked a mess. She was covered in blood and dirt and tears were spilling down her cheeks.
"What... Ales? What happened?" Rosie asked, helping her inside and had her sit at the kitchen island. Ash walked over to the two and frowned.
"Where's Al?" he questioned, fiddling with his watch band. The two women looked at one another. Rosie understood the look and gasped softly, knowing what had happened just now. She looked at Ash and then at the door when a knock was heard. She had Ash answer it and to their surprise, Anthony walked in.
"Heya... Wait... Where's Alastor?" he asked, not seeing his lover anywhere in the building. Alessia sniffled, close to the verge of tears. She shook her head and thanked Rosie for healing her as much as she could.
"What's goin' on?" Ash asked, looking at his two friends and his brother's boyfriend. Alessia shook her head, not able to bring herself to say what had happened.
"I... I gotta go.." Alessia said once she was able to regain herself enough to stand up, walking briskly to the front door, putting her cloak on and walked over to the graveyard, looking down at her friend's grave once she was there. She didn't hear footsteps coming, nor did she hear Anthony's voice.
"... What happened." It wasn't a question. It was a request.
"Rosie asked me to find him. I was too late... I couldn't... I couldn't get to him in-," she was cut off by feeling a sharp blade pierce through her chest. She looked at Anthony.
"Anthony. I- I didn't. I didn't kill him," she pleaded, already knowing she was already close to losing her life. Anthony looked at her. Anger and rage filled his eyes. When he realised what he had done, it was too late. He broke into sobs, doing what she did for Alastor. He buried her beside her friend. He had blood on his hands and that only made him feel worse. He acted irrationally. He didn't move to New Orleans yet so without looking back, he made his way to the station and headed back on his way to New York, where his drug addiction got worse...
~~~

"And that's that... I was killed by Anthony... You're the first I've ever told about this," Alessia said, finishing her tale to Lucifer. The king looked shocked as he listened to the sinner's tale, unsure how to feel about this other than that he felt sorry for her. He looked up and stubbed out his cigarette.

"That's a lot for someone to tell, especially if you were killed by your own friend's hand..." he said sorrowfully. Alessia shrugged, playing with her spider-webs.

"Yeah... Anthony... I don't... I haven't found him. I knew he was an addict but it didn't get better, I know that much. I could only imagine how much worse it got after he found out Al was dead and after killing me," she sighed and looked at the bulletin board above the Vee's tower. It was a picture of Angel Dust, advertising about Valentino's club or whatever the message was about, she wasn't too sure nor was she trying to figure out what it meant. Though something about his smile seemed very familiar. What was it?

"Holy fucking shit. Lucifer, you might want to see this," Alessia nudged his shoulder and pointed towards the sky which had opened up and sent down the arrays of Heaven's lights. Using binoculars, Alessia looked towards the sight and saw that it was...

"EMILY?! Fuck, Lucifer, we need to get to main part of the city. Now," she said and quickly explained what was happening, quickly sending a message to her brother Alessio about it, the two sinners teleported to the hotel where, and just in time, Alessia caught Emily in her arms just as she fell. Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, Nifty, Alastor, and Husk all ran outside to see what was going on. Emily panicked and scrambled out of Alessia's arms, putting up a defensive stance in case Vaggie tried to attack her. She looked scared and unsure what to do. Charlie frowned and looked between everyone before her eyes fell on Emily.

"Em..?" she whispered and took a step back. Vaggie approached her, angelic sword hitting the ground with a clang before she opened her arms for the fallen angel and hugged her tightly.

"We're here. We've got you," she whispered and let her break down into her arms, sobbing uncontrollably as the ex-exterminator hugged her. Charlie looked surprised but quickly went over to the two and hugged Emily just as tightly as Vaggie was. Alessia looked at her brother and hugged him tightly, signing to him.

"Are you okay?"

"I could..." The sinner looked at his sister, shocked to see her. He hadn't expected to see her down in Hell at all.

"Alessia..." he whispered. Alessio could speak but he would switch between using sign language and speaking, nine times out of ten he would use sign language because their parents were deaf.

"Hey, twin brother." She smiled and hugged him tightly, shedding a few tears. She opened her eyes once they pulled away. Her eyes looked over to Angel Dust. Something about him seemed so familiar but she couldn't figure what it was. She snapped back to reality when Alessio said something and she nodded in agreement, not catching what he said. Lucifer approached Emily and took her hands in his. He smiled softly and hugged her tightly.

"We've got ya, kid. I know what it feels like to be a fallen angel..." he whispered, comforting her. He locked eyes with Charlie, who nodded with a smile, hugging her dad and the fallen angel. Vaggie joined the hug, wanting to help Emily feel wanted and reassured that they had her back down in Hell, because they did. They wouldn't let anything bad happen to her... At least if they could prevent her from getting hurt.

"Alessia, pleasure seeing you again." Alastor's voice spooked Alessia, causing her to screech and shoot out a web from her hand.

"Fuckin' hell, Al," she sighed but retracted the web and looked at him. Alastor just smiled and shrugged it off as if it were nothing. Alessia followed his eyes and tried to figure out what he was looking at... Rather, who he was looking at.

"You okay?" she asked him.

"... I'm alright, dear," he promised, looking hesitant, smile faltering a little bit. Alessia looked between him and Angel Dust. Then it clicked.

"Anthony..." she whispered, all eight eyes wide open as she realised that the one and only Angel Dust was in fact, Anthony. The kid who died from a drug overdose in 1947... The same kid who Alastor had been in love with for aeons. The same kid who killed her on a mistaken action... The same one she loved just as much as she loved Ash and her own brother... She loved, and still did, love Anthony as a brother. She looked at her hands, gloves still off. The red splatters had been blood from where she buried Alastor and tried to get her own wound to stop bleeding when she was stabbed with a dagger that same night.

"Wha-?" Angel looked behind him at Alessia and Alastor, unsure what was going on. Though before he could process what was happening, he felt six arms around him, and tears on his chest.

"Anthony... Holy fuck.." she cried while laughing, smiling and wiped her own tears with her uppermost right arm. Angel did a double take and looked at the sinner who hugged him.

"ALESSIA?!?" he asked, shocked to see her.

Alessia sniffled and nodded. "Yeah..."

"Oh my satan..Oh my god... Oh my god... Holy shit. You... What ta fuck. I am so sorry, Ales. I didn't... I don't... I don't know what came over me that night. I shouldn't have done it. I don't know why... I'm sorry, Alessia." He hugged her tightly, ranting. Alessia smiled and hugged him just as tightly, assuring him that it was okay and that she was happy to see him again. Happy to see he was doing okay, somewhat knowing what the situation was with Valentino but didn't know the full details. After the two pulled away, Alessia looked over at Alastor who just stood there with his normal creepy smile on his face. She rolled her eyes and pulled Alastor over to Angel, raising a brow.

"Nothing looks familiar, Al?" she asked him.

"Hmm... No," he answered simply. Alessia sighed, deciding it was time to come clean. She saw Ash, Alastor's brother, appear behind his shoulder.

"I heard something. What's going on?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. Alessia sighed, knowing it was time to tell the whole story.

"Anthony, Ash, do you remember that night when I asked Rosie to keep an eye on Ash while I went to look for Alastor? Well... A lot happened that night. I went looking for Al because Rosie asked me to, so I did... I knew Al's path in the woods, knowing he was going to bury a victim there. I got there too late. I had slipped earlier and my candle went out so I walked through the dark woods without a light until I saw Al's still lit candle. I followed it... but I got there too late... Al was already... He was already dead when I got there. What I did was I buried Al in the graveyard that was a little ways from our apartment, made a headstone and got to work. Rosie helped me inside when she saw me walking back covered in blood and dirt... That's when you came in, Tone. Ash answered the door and you asked where Al was. Rosie knew. I did. I couldn't answer... So I left in a hurry. I went to the only place where I didn't think you would follow me. The graveyard. Turns out you did follow me. I tried to explain but you were hurt and angry which I get so... You stabbed me. With this," Alessia said and pulled out the jagged blade from her coat pocket. Angel looked between her and Alastor before lunging himself into Al's arms, hugging him as tight as he could.

"Gross, you've had that since you died?" Ash asked, looking perplexed.

"Kinda. I might have worked with I.M.P in the second city of the Pride Ring. Imp City," she said, explaining what she did before she came across the hotel and Cherri too.

"Damn... Wait. You went to the moral realm?" Husk asked, looking at her, having been listening to what was going on. Alessia nodded and looked between the group.

"Yeah...? I.. I was there when Anthony OD... I couldn't let him die alone, not like Al and I did... I held him as he took his final breath... I watched as Sal and Molly cried at his funeral... It was brutal. Molly was hurt and Sal hid his feelings at the mourn and funeral," she said, acting like it wasn't a big deal. Anthony kissed Alastor and pulled away when he heard his name. He looked at Alessia, eyes wide.

"You... you were there? How? What?!" he asked, shocked.

"Yeah. When I worked with I.M.P, I was freelance for a while because we weren't getting any calls so.... I may or may not have used Stolas' book, yes I knew the spells, and went to the mortal realm to find Anthony and try to explain and to check on you... But I guess I was too late. I found you.... Dead in one of the alleyways. I- I couldn't just leave. I ran over to you and held you for a solid hour. Told you that I'd see you on the other side," she explained. Anthony looked between everyone before looking over at the fallen angel. Lucifer and Vaggie were still hugging her as Charlie had Nifty get a room ready for her. Alastor had a slight blush on his face as Anthony tangled his arms around him. All six arms hugged the Radio Demon. Ash smiled at his brother, offering a small hug before he teleported back to the Vee's tower. Emily looked at Lucifer and Vaggie with a sad smile, sniffling as she thanked the two and gave Charlie a tight hug.

"Thank you," she whispered to the princess. Charlie smiled and hugged her just as tightly.

"You're welcome, Em," she whispered back to her and pulled away after a moment, leading her into the hotel. The others followed the princess after things were settled. Anthony stayed behind with Alastor, as did the twins.

"Youse knew the whole time?" Anthony asked, still latched onto Alastor. Alessia shook her head.

"It took me some time to figure out that you were Anthony, the one we all knew and loved," she answered, chuckling quietly as she watched her twin brother play with fire. Angel nodded, laying his head on Alastor's shoulder and softly cooed, rubbing the fluff on his ears with a smile.

"I love ya," he whispered, hugging Alastor tightly again. Alastor's smile faded a little bit as he hugged Anthony tightly and held him tightly in his arms, not letting go for a long time. He started to cry as he held Anthony in his arms. Anthony smiled and held Al in his arms, keeping a tight grasp on him.

"C'mon, Al," Angel eventually said, kissing Al's head and lead them inside the hotel and up to his bedroom.
