Morning came and Jim woke up by the alarm in which he was happy to hear his alarm. He happily accepted everything so long as he's out and even from his moms cook. Right now, we see Jim and his friends are on their way to school with their bikes as Jim is up ahead and enjoys the fresh air while Toby ask his friends a question.
Toby: Have you talked to him about it?
Claire: No, it has to come from one of you two. Why haven't you talked to him yet?
Toby: He just got out of the Darklands. He needs time to recover.
They see Jim trying to do one wheel stunt on his bicycle.
Jim: Whoo! Check this out
YN: He seems fine to me.
Jim: Come on, slowpokes, let's take the old shortcut!
YN: Well, while you were gone, Claire and I found a faster route to school.
Jim: Pssh! Come on. Faster than the canals?
They were then taken a fastest shortcut by Claire's staff that teleported them to school faster.
Jim: Whoo-hoo! (Sighs.) You're right. You have gotten good at that.
They all then hear the school bell ring.
Jim: (Smiles.) Good ol' Arcadia Oaks High! I wonder what we'll learn today.
Toby: He's clearly not fine. Who in their right mind looks forward to school?
When they got to school, the students applaud and cheer at Jim.
Jim: What the?
Eli: Jim! You're back! (Hugs Jim.) Oh! You're alive!
Jim: "Back"? They know?
Toby: They know you're the first person to be officially cured from the incurable Jim Lake Disease.
Jim: Oh.
Claire: Jim, you're a walking medical mystery.
YN: Alright, alright, he could still be contagious. Move along, Eli.
Eli: Bye, Jim! Gonna wash my hands now.
Everyone has gone their separate way before the friends discuss the situation while Jim was gone.
Claire: T.P. covered for you while you were gone, but-
Jim: (Confused.) T.P.?
YN: Short for Toby Pie. That's one of the things you've missed.
Toby: You missed a lot, dude! I had to pretend to be you. I had to eat your mom's spaghetti carbonara. (Scoffs.) More like "cardboard-nara." You owe me!
YN: And I had to do your homework while your gone. Spanish, social studies, and algebra.
Jim: Oh, I miss homework so much that I love it.
Steve: Look who's back!
Steve bump into Jim before grabbing him.
Steve: Did I hear you say you love homework? There's something fishy going on in this lake.
Suddenly Jim hugs Steve to which surprised him.
Jim: I even missed you. The ol' Palchuk.
Steve: Get your germs off of me!
Toby: Uh, I'll let you two catch up. It's time for some unfinished business.
Toby approaches towards Darci and gave her flowers. But it turns out that Darci is allergic to flowers which lead to failure.
