I kissed him. It's just a smack or a peck but I did. I quickly pull away but he pull me closer again and kiss me too. My eyes widen. He's holding my face with his left hand while his right hand is pulling my nape. I tried kissing him back and he enter my mouth.
Gosh what am I doing? He's a good kisser but not as good as Shawn. I open my eyes from sudden realization. What the? Did I just compare him while he's kissing me. That is just cruel and uncalled for. Stupid Chantal. I decided to pull away from him and he let me. Mapupungay ang mata nyang nakatingin sakin. I mentally curse myself because now it's awkward. We're looking at each other in silence. Maybe he want me to explain why I kiss him but I couldn't.
"Uh thank you again for today. I gotta go. We had a long fun day but uh we still have work tomorrow." I couldn't find most of my word. I'm just plain stupid at this point. I hurriedly left the car and didn't look back. Narinig ko ang pagbukas ng pinto at pagtawag nya sa akin ngunit di ko ito pinansin. I hid to one of the cars. Way to go Chantal. What is this? Kiss and run? So mature.
Tumunog ang aking cellphone at nag message sya.
'Good night. I had fun today. Take care and we'll see each other soon. Thank you again and rest well.' it seems like he doesn't wanna mention what I did because he know that I felt awkward. I heave a sigh and type my reply.
'Thank you for today and sorry. Drive safe' Tinago ko na ang cellphone ko bago pa sya makapagreply. I was about to walk inside the condo ng may sumipol sa likuran ko.
"Way to go. You're really gonna kill that guy." I look back and I saw a tall guy with brown hair and he's looking at me like I'm funny.
"Who are you?" He held out his hand for a shake hand.
"I'm Uno." I roll my eyes and didn't accept his hand.
"What I mean is, are you one of the dog that he sent to follow me around." He put down his hand and gasped dramatically.
"Then I must be the most handsome dog out of us three." Natatawa nyang saad.
"I don't have time for your games so leave me alone." Tumawa lamang ulit sya at inilagay ang kanyang kamay sa bulsa.
"But you really gonna kill that guy huh? Poor guy he will be remembered. He is nice and all but sadly his life will be cut short." He said it with a fake melancholic voice. Nagpanting ang aking tenga at agad syang tinulak. Itinaas nya ang kanyang kamay na para bang sumusuko sya.
"Easy there. I'm not the one who's gonna hurt him. I just state what's obvious." I'm really angry. I feel like they are playing with life. No, they definitely are.
"Back off. Don't you ever dare hurt him because you'll be the prime suspect. You and all of your jerk friends." He gave me a pretend scared face and it annoys me more.
"Go on. Try us, let's see what you got." He said mockingly. I swear I wanna smack this guy and feed him to hyenas.
"Don't you dare." I look at him sharply and he did the same.
"Then you should have listen to all of us. You should have take this seriously because now I don't know what he'll do when he get back." He said in a cold serious voice.
"I don't care about all your crap. Manage your friend better so he won't do harm to other people. Seriously, just send him to psych or something. Actually, you should all go." He laugh again and seriously he's really pissing me off.
"Wow! Lahat talaga kami? Aren't you crazy too? You kiss that poor guy but when he kiss you, you ran away. Like he did it so bad you just want to get away from him hahahahaha. That's such a huge blow to any man's ego." natahimik ako sa sinabi nya. Hindi talaga tama ang ginawa ko kanina at lalong hindi ko iyon dapat ginawa kay Radon. He doesn't deserve that.
" What? Natahimik ka? Also, don't tell us to handle Shawn. Like seriously? Lahat talaga kami sinabihan mong rendahan si Shawn? You're quite funny." Humakbang sya papalapit sa akin ngunit hindi ko sya tinitingnan.
"You think we will follow you? No. So just behave yourself. Stop seeing that guy or you will really regret it." Nilampasan nya ako at nagsimulang naglakad. I watch him leave when he stop and look at me.
"Also, mag-isip ka na ng paraan kung paano mawawala ang galit ni Shawn. You really need it. Think hard." With that he finally drove away.
When I got home I check kung may cctv dito or hidden cameras. There is a possibility because he's really out of his mind. He made three people follow me around. It's just so crazy. Pagod akong humiga sa kama. Wala naman akong nakita which is good. I can finally sleep with a little peace on mind.
Days passed and I am avoiding Radon. Not entirely, we are still talking pero ayaw ko lamang makipagkita sa kanya. I know he's overthinking if he did anything wrong when in fact I am the one who did him wrong. I just can't see him without feeling the guilt qnd embarrassment.
"Dadalhin mo ba ang car mo or we'll pick you up later?"I was snap back to reality when Shane ask me.
" Uh sabay na lang ako sa inyo." Today is Saturday and pupunta kami sa club mamaya dahil birthday ni Trisha. We want to throw her a surprise party but she said na gusto nyang sya ang magpreprepare. Of course she's quite meticulous so we just let her. It's what she want after all.
I wore a silver sparkly strap dress. Umaabot ito sa gitna ng aking hita. It's the dress code, she said to wear something shiny or sparkly. Pinaresan ko lamang ito ng silver 5 inch strap sandals. I wore a coat and took my purse before I leave.
"Happy birthday Trisha!!!" We all greeted her at exactly 12mn. We sang her a song and celebrated her day. We drink alcohols tatanggi sana ako pero ayaw pumayag ni Trisha. Sabi nya may driver naman daw na maghahatid sa amin pauwi. After a while ay nagsayaw na kami sa gitna. We had a great time.
3 am na ng mapagdesisyunan naming umuwi dahil magcecelebrate pa daw si Trisha with her parents later. I am quite tipsy but I can manage myself I just can't drive in this state. Pagkahatid sa akin ay dumiretso ako sa aking kwarto. I am smiling and humming while I enter my room. Right, maghihilamos muna ako at magpapalit. I was about to took out my pajamas when I heard a very familiar voice.
"Hello, my Chantal. Did you miss me?" he's voice is low and cold that it sends chill to my spine. He's back.
