"Girl are you okay?" My friends visited me and they are all worried. Apparently, matagal na silang pabalik balik hindi lamang sila pinayagan ni Shawn makabisita dahil kailangan ko daw ng madaming pahinga.
"Yep, I'm fine na." Shane handed me peeled apple while pouting.
"Sobrang strict ng boyfriend mo ha. Kapag kami pinabisita inoorasan pa kami." Sunod sunod silang nagmaktol at napatawa naman ako.
"Don't worry, I talked to him na." Buti na lamang malawak ang room na ito at may sariling sofa, tv, fridge etc.
Nagkasya lahat ang nasa sampo kong bisita. We are quite chatty because we're talking about the latest gossip on showbiz and my future ramps.
"Alam mo ba? Sir Shawn did his best para hindi ito magleak sa social media. He said he doesn't want your name to be drag upon and got link with that bastard." Trisha said while peeling me banana.
"Really? So no one knows. " Sunod sunod ang inaabot nilang prutas sa akin at hindi ko na alam kung alin ang uunahin. They are always like this. Hindi ko na maubos mga pagkain dito. I need to be discharge. Mananaba ako ng sobra dito.
"Yep. Sir Shawn is really something, considering na sa mataong lugar pa nangyari." Ella said in awe.
They're right and I'm thankful for what Shawn did. Ayaw kong pagpyestahan na naman ang pangalan ko sa nakakatraumang pangyayari. Palagi ko lamang maalala ang trauma ko dun. We talk for more than an hour ng dumating ang nurse. She said na tapos na ang morning visitation hours at bumalik na lamang sa hapon. Guardian lamang ang pwedeng magstay as long as they want and in my case, Shawn is my guardian here.
"How are you now baby?" Shawn entered the room and kiss my forehead.
"I'm really fine now. I rest more than enough hayaan mo na ako madischarge." I pouted. Ayaw nya pa kasi ako payagan madischarge. He said he want to be very sure. Konteng gasgas lang naman natamo ko at matagal na yung nawala.
"Okay baby. I talked to your doctors and your free to go. Inaasikaso na ng assistant ko ang discharge paper mo." I almost squeal from what he said. Finally!
"Thank you baby! Pero why are you here this early? Hindi ba at may meeting ka sa Cebu?" I know he's quite busy and andami nyang pinostpone na meeting because of what happened.
"Yep. I just want to check on you before I leave. If hindi ko maabutan discharge mo nariyan ung chauffeur. He'll send you to the condo." tumabi sya sa bed ko at hinalikan ang aking buhok.
"Thank you so much baby" I said genuinely. He's been there for me ever since. He took a very good care of me even though he's really busy.
"You are always welcome baby." He kiss me on the lips for a few second because his phone started ringing. He's caressing my hair while talking.
"Yes, Okay I'm going." It seems like it's his secretary.
"I need to leave now baby. See you later. I'll update you. I love you." He kiss me on the lips to my cheeks to my forehead up to my hair. I giggled because it's such a sweet gesture for me.
"See you baby. I love you too." He hug me and sniff my neck. He stayed like that for a few minutes and I just savour his warmth.
"I don't wanna leave. I just want to stay here by your side." He said in a low complaining voice. Para syang nagtatantrums. I chuckle because he's so cute kapag nanlalambing ng ganito.
"Baby you need to leave na. We'll see each other later naman." Hinarap nya ako ng nakasimangot. He was about to say something ng muling tumunog ang cellphone nya. I bet it's his secretary. Inis syang tumayo habang ako ay natatawa lamang.
"Damn this. I really need to leave. See you later." He gave me a quick kiss and bid a goodbye habang nakasimangot pa din.
"Take care baby. See you later." I hug him and kiss him on his cheeks. Masama ang loob nyang tumayo at naglakad palabas ng room.
Pagkaalis nya ay inasikaso ko na ang mga gamit ko. Wala pang isang oras inalis na ang swero ko dahil dumating na ang discharge papers. I wore a simple square neck baby blue dress that reaches my calf. Nag face mask din ako dahil baka makunan ako ng paparazzi, mahirap na. After a while ay kumatok na ang isa sa assistant ni Shawn. He politely greeted me bago nya kinuha ang mga gamit ko.
This is a private hospital and more on high profile ang nagpapagamot or naaadmit dito. So mataas ang level ng privacy dito which is a very good thing.
I am walking on the hallway ng tumunog ang cellphone ko kaya tiningnan ko kung sino ang nagchat ng may bumangga sa akin at muntikang mahulog ang cellphone ko.
"I'm sorry miss. Are you ok?" The voice is very familiar. When I look up we quickly recognise each other.
"Chantal?"
"Radon?" it's really him. He's holding a paper and he seems lost.
"Why are you here?" I asked him. Gosh, it's been so long since the last time that I saw him. Lumago na ang bigote nya and he seems occupied. He seem shock na nagkita kami dito.
"What's taking you so long? Naligaw ka ba?" A sweet familiar voice is approaching from behind. I looked back and I saw Alessa. Mukhang nagulat din sya na makita ako. She's wearing a yellow dress and her baby bump is slightly visible.
Well this is kind of awkward. I saw how Alessa's body became tense. She walks toward us and force a smile.
" Hello Chantal. It's a surprise seeing you here." She said as she scoot to Radon's side.
"Yep. I didn't know you're both also here." I smile at her. I don't want to start any bad blood with her or anything
"So what's bring you here?" She curiously asked as she encircle her hands to Radon's arm.
"I was admitted. It's a long story and I don't want the press to know." I answered curtly. Radon is just looking at us and couldn't say anything. I guess he's kind of surprised till now.
"Anong nangyari? Hindi ba namin pwedeng malaman? We won't tell anyone." Alessa's really curious I guess.
"I almost got shot and assaulted." I shortly said. I was shock with what happened next. Radon remove Alessa's hand and walk towards me. Puno ng pag aalala ang kanyang mukha.
"Are you ok? What happened? Who did that to you?" It seems like he wants to touch me but he couldn't. I look at Alessa and I saw pain in her eyes. She swallowed hard and look away. I suddenly felt guilty.
"I'm ok now. Don't worry and uh." I need to drive Radon to Alessa's side.
"You? What brings the both of you here?" Mukha namang natauhan si Radon at muling lumingon kay Alessa.
"We're here for a checkup. The doctor said na maselan ang pagbubuntis ni Alessa." Alessa look at us again and approach us with a smile. She keeps on smiling even though she isn't fine and that's not healthy.
"Ganoon ba? Take care both of you and Congratulations!" I said genuinely. I wish they sort things out. I won't appear in front of them anymore. Ayaw ko na mastress si Alessa knowing na she's bothered sa past namin ni Radon.
"Thank you." Alessa curtly answered.
"Take care of yourself. " Radon said with full of concern.
"Thank you." I couldn't bear the situation so I bid them goodbye.
Bago ako lumiko ng pasilyo ay lumingon ako. I look back and saw that Radon is still looking at me while Alessa is looking at him. I can see her hurting. Agad kong binaling ang tingin ko at lumakad palabas.
I shouldn't get involve with them anymore. I can't make Alessa suffer like that.
