I rushed out the room in a hurry. Followed by Newt. I scanned the scene ahead of me, looking between Gally and Thomas as the two boys argued with each other.

"Look around, Thomas! This is all your fault!" Gally shouted at the brunette, while he was held back by two other gladers.

"Wow, wow," Newt shouted, making his way over to Gally. In hopes he could calm down him.

"They sent them here and now they've destroyed everything we built!" Gally was hysterical, trying to fight back. By the way his fist clenched, I could tell he desperately wanted to hurt Thomas.

Newt became flustered, "Gally what are you talking about?" I heard him say.

Thomas looked at Gally with guilt written on his face. He was stuck in deep thought, standing near Teresa and Chuck.

The way he looked made me worry. Thomas wasn't saying a thing. There was something on his mind. A thought maybe? I couldn't tell if it was a good one or a bad one, which concerned me even more.

The brunette tilted his head to the side and looked at Chuck. With one thought in mind.

Feeling anxious, I walked over to the three and stood next to Thomas. That's when I noticed the pink mark on half of his.

I touched his shoulder, signaling I was right next to him and Thomas looked away from Chuck. I furrowed my brows, "What happened to your face, Thomas? Did you get hit?" I asked.

He blinked. Not saying a word.

After having a staring contest for less than a minute, weirdly I did not ask him anything else. I wanted it wait when he's ready. Knowing Thomas, eventually he'll say something.

"I need answers," He mumbled at first, then spoke more clearly, "For us," He clarified.

"Thomas, you're really starting to scare me." I admitted, glancing at Teresa for some help, but she just stood there.

"The Creators, they'll know-"

I cut him off, "It's not like you could ask them."

"They were talking to you," Thomas counterattacked, "I need to know why. I need to know why we are so different. Don't you understand?"

"I do. Trust me, I really want to know why, but it's not that simple...You would have to be stung-"

Thomas abruptly turned his head to Chuck and grabbed an object out of his hand. Specifically, the object that a Griever dropped earlier.

Without warning, out of the blue, Thomas stabbed him self with the object. I reached my arms out as he fell down in agony.

"No!"

"Thomas!"

"Thomas!" I shook him, kneeling on the floor, but got no reaction, "Newt! Somebody help me!" I cried out loud, bringing everyone's attention to us.

Thomas held the object as he twitched on the floor. He was shaky and his eyes went blank, staring off into the distance.

"Chuck, get the syringe!" yelled Teresa. She carefully leaned closer to the boy, "It's okay," She reassured no one in particular. Maybe Thomas.

The tip of my finger touched his forehead, moving his hair away, "You're going to be okay," I said to him. Knowing there was a high possibility of him not listening.

In the next minute. Chuck came running over with the syringe in his hand. Newt took it and stabbed Thomas in the right leg, injecting him with the medicine.

He let out a breath of relief and stood up. Straightening out his posture and putting the syringe in his pocket.

"Put him in the slammer!" Gally shouted in my ear. I snapped my head in his direction with an irritated expression on my face. Could he not read the room?

"Gally," Newt pleaded. However, there's only so much he could say to change Gallys mind. The boy was too stubborn to listen.

"No, Newt! You listen!"

It went quiet.

"Those three need to be handle. Don't you see what they did?" He swayed his hands in the air, gesturing to our surrounding. The glade was left in despair. Half of the wooden building was ruined because of the Grievers and we lost a lot of people.

"They don't know anything. Just like the rest of us," Minho stated, coming to our defense. He handed me a hand and I took it, standing up.

I sent him an apologetic look. Gally is not going to take Minhos words lightly. The more you argue with him the more he gets upset. There's no winning with that boy.

Gally scoffed, "The Creators were talking to her. Why are we acting like that didn't happen? This is all their fault and you guys are being tricked in to believing their lies."

Are you kidding me? You got to be joking. I stood there at loss of words. Gally never failed to surprise me, that's for sure.

Newt opened his mouth to argue but I put my arm out, stopping him from continuing.

"I don't know what you want from me, Gally. What the Creators told me isn't what you think. They tricked me and used me- I was sent here, just like everyone else! How is that my fault?" I caught my breath, "I didn't ask for this! I did not ask to be here!"

I was infuriated. My voice was loud and I spoke with anger. Bottled anger. From constantly having to bite back my tongue.

"You're a liar! You're a liar! You're a liar!"

Gally yanked out of the two boys grips in pure rage. Everything turned into a blur. He came charging at me and Newt leaped forward to stop Gally, but he was too fast.

Next thing you know it, I'm thrown in the air and hit my head against the ground because of the impact. My body went limp, too heavy to get back up.

Through my blurry vision all I could see was Minho. He was liked so worriedly. Occasionally, looking behind himself and back to me. His lips moved, but I could not hear a thing. From over his shoulder I saw two faint figures fighting in the distance.

My eye lids grew heavy and I started to struggle keeping them open. I'm tried. I'm too tired to fight back. All I wanted to do is close my eyes and rest, in hopes that when I wake up this would be a dream.

It would be a nightmare.
