THE MEET

We walked into Stacy's room, and as we walked in there was music and alcohol. We went to go find StacyS and Dillion and to no surprise they were making out in the middle of the room. I kicked Dillion's leg and he flipped me off.

"Okay so we can't interrupt you but you can interrupt us god you're annoying" i say playfully

We stayed for a bit and then we played 7 minutes in heaven. Paige put her head on my shoulder after about two rounds Dillon pulled out Paige's phone and Gabby's phone Paige looked at me and held my hand. Paige stood up and grabbed my hand tighter and ran into the bathroom. Once we closed the door, Paige kissed me and pushed me up against the wall, as she deepened the kiss she pinned my arms above my head on the wall. I smiled when she started to slowly kiss my neck, I closed my eyes, she had a way of making me go weak.

"Holy shit"

She immediately pulled away

"Oh umm is that too much"

"No its not, not at all"

I kissed Paige again and then Dillon pounded on the door to signal our time was over.

"Times up love birds"

"Fuck off Dillion"

After a little while Paige and I decided to go back to our room.

As I got into my shorts to go to bed, Paige came out of the shower with just her towel on, I was speechless.

"Oh sorry i forgot my clothes"

"Umm yeah"

Is all that could come out of my stupid mouth. Paige smiled

Paige goes through her bag and starts to curse under her breath.

"Babe whats wrong"

"I forgot to pack my night clothes i just have my track meet uniform"

A part of me was happy to hear that I mean I know we're not at the stage for our first time but I mean idk.

"Well umm I mean i don't care if you sleep in your undergarments"

"Oh umm I mean I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable"

"Umm okay so like maybe here so you feel less awkward"

I slowly took off my shirt and shorts and I was just in my sports bra and underwear. I looked down at the floor. I have never been this vulnerable with anyone but with Paige it was different. Paige went into the bathroom. And she came out in her bra and boxer shorts.

We awkwardly climbed in bed. I turned on my side to face Paige and she did the same. I tucked a piece of loose hair behind her ear.

"You're so beautiful"

Paige slowly and lightly brushed her fingers along my arms

"I don't know what you're talking about you're the beautiful one"

In that moment all I do is freez and i remember all the times that my dad told me that i was fat and not skinny and that i was never gonna be with someone who actually liked me. That i was worthless and stupid. I have never been the confident type when it came to my body. Because i was always shamed for the way i looked. Everything i did was always compared to Gabby. Beacue my dad always that she was perfect and i was just a disgrace to my family gabby was always the favorite child and i was just the other one. Dealing with all of this shit with my dad caused me to start to struggel with an eating disorder i always wanted to be enough for my dad that i would do anything for his approval of me. But now eveytime i lloked in the mirror i hated the way i looked. I hear Paige's voice.

"Babe you okay?"

I snap out of my flashback and look at Paige

"Yeah... yeah i'm fine"

"You sure?"

"Yeah i just don't want to talk about it right now"

"Okay"

Paige curled up into my arms and wrapped her arms around my waist and we just fell asleep holding eachother.

I wake up at around 5 am Paige is right next to me i couldn't help but smile she was so adorable when she was asleep. I kiss paige on the forehead impulsive and paige groans and opens her eyes and looks at me.

"Aj what time is it?"

"5 am"

"Why the fuck are you awake at 5 in the morning? Go back to bed."

She tighetns her grip around my waist and puts her head on my chest. I smield and wrapped my arms around her and went back to bed.

We woke up to the sound of my alarm going off it was around 7 am and the trak meet was at 9:00 so paige and i got up and got ready. I put on my uniforme and my cleats and we walked downstairs to go get some breakfast. Paige held my hand as we went down the elevator into the lobby where everyone was in the dining room getting some food. I went to sit down with Gabby Dillon and Stacey while Paige went to get food. Paige came back with some pancakes and some oatmeal.

"You gonna go get something to eat?"

"Um no i woke up really early and had some food"

I lied to be honest i havent eaten in almost 3 days. My ED was acting up again.Gabby looked at me

"Hey sis can we talk?"

I roll my eyes and get up Gabby pulled me into the bathroom

"How long?"

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"Alexandra Jade Campos how long im not in the mood to have this bullshit answer"

Gabby found out the day she found me passed out on the floor of my room. I wasnt moving they had to take me to the hospital to get fluids and other shit. I looked down at the ground

" AJ HOW FUCKING LONG"

" 4 days"

"AJ"

"It's fine Gabs i'm fine"

"Bullshit"

I storm out of the bathroom and go sit next to paige. I put my head on the table. And groan.

"Babe you okay?"

"Never better"

We all got into the van and drove to the track meet. We were getting ready and I started to feel dizzy. But before i could go get water the race started paige passed the baton on to me and i started to finish the last leg of the race. I was almost to the finish line when I started to lose balance. I pushed harder and harder and ran faster and faster till I crossed the line. I heard them say we got first place and then it all went black. I heard Paige screaming my name and crying then I heard the ambulance.

I woke up in a hospital room i looked to my left and i saw paige asleep in the chair i move a bit and then i hear paige wake up.

" OH MY GOD you're awake"

" Where am I.. what happened?"

"You passed out after the track meet and you hit your head really badly, you have a concussion. They flew you back home on a helocopter."

"How long have I been passed out?"

"AJ you've been in a coma for a month"
