The school couldn't stop talking about Sirius Black in the next few days.
"How do you think he got in?" Daphne asked Aerea when they were in Charms.
Aerea shrugged. "Dont know, and if I'm honest, as long as he doesn't come after me. I don't care." She said, mastering the spell they were doing.

Quidditch season was coming up, and guess who used his arm as an excuse to not play in the bad weather.
Aerea's idiotic brother.
"What do you mean you're not playing?" Aerea asked her brother in the common room.
"I can't exactly ride a broom with one arm, Aerea." Draco said.
"I actually can't with you, using your perfectly fine arm as an excuse to not play in bad weather? That's pathetic!" Aerea said, standing up.
"Where are you going?" Draco asked.
"Away from you. I think your lack of braincells is getting to me." Aerea said, walking out of the common room.

It was the day of the first Quidditch match of the season, Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff.
Aerea stood in the stands in the pouring rain with Daphne.
They could hardly see anything in the rain. Occasionally, they saw someone whip by and hear Lee Jordan announce the points.
After what felt like forever, the Gryffindor team called for a time out.
"They better hurry up. I love Quidditch, but if I'm going to have to stand here for much longer, I might just get hypothermia." Aerea complained.
Daphne just rolled her eyes at her best friends' dramatics.
After a few minutes, the teams went back up in the air.
Suddenly, there was a wave of darkness, and Aerea felt an eerily familiar feeling of coldness sweep over her.
"What's happening?" Daphne asked, feeling the change of atmosphere.
"Dementors." Aerea managed to get out before falling to the ground.
"You won't find her. She's long gone."
"We'll see about that. Avada Kedavra!"
A scream in agony was heard. If you listened closely, you could hear an unknown beast roar in pain.
"Will she be okay?" Daphne asked.
"I'll be fine," Aerea answered her question, waking up with a major headache. "What happened?"
"Dementors," Madam Promfrey answered, hurrying over to the girl who had just woke up. She felt her forehead to which Aerea tried moving away, but she couldn't go far because she was in a hospital bed. "You're all clammy and feeling a bit hot. Here is a piece of chocolate, but I'm going to keep you here for the night."
Aerea's mouth opened in disbelief. "That's not necessary, I'm fine, I didn't die, did I?"
"You don't have a choice, miss Malfoy. The choice is mine, and I just made it." Madam Promfrey said, walking away.
Aerea groaned. "I can't believe her!"
"Aerea, you fainted because of the dementors. Of course, she's going to keep you here for the night." Daphne said.
