The next few weeks passed with Mrs. Weasley forcing the kids to help her clean the house.

Hermione had arrived the week before, and she was immediately dragged into cleaning by Mrs. Weasley.

Aerea managed to slip out of today's session because she said she wanted to take a walk outside.

Mrs. Weasley looked sceptical but let her go this one time.

So that was what she was doing right now. Walking.

She didn't actually want to, but anything that could take her out of cleaning.

Aerea walked until she came to an abandoned clearing she vaguely recognised.

Normally, she wouldn't think too much about it, but ever since... well, you know.

She looked around. She had a feeling she needed to stay for a little while longer before turning away.

So she did.

She walked around. Waiting.

Then, a large flapping of wings landed behind her.

Slowly, Aerea turned around and was faced with none other than the Hebridean Black.

She stayed quiet. She knew deep down he wouldn't harm her, but she was a bit scared.

"Don't be scared, Aerea Macklyn," a deep voice said in her head.

Aerea's eyes widened, and she looked around. "What?"

"In front of you," the voice said.

She turned to the dragon.

"What is happening?" She asked no one in particular.

"Didn't you read the history of your ancestors?" The dragon asked in her head.

"Uh -" she was at a loss for words.

"Bonded dragons can communicate with their riders through their brains," he said in a bored tone.

Aerea didn't answer she just gaped at the dragon in front of her.

"Stop looking at me like that. Do you want to climb on my back or not?" He asked.

Aerea closed her mouth. "Uh - for what?" She asked, still in shock.

"To fly," he said as if it was obvious.

Aerea's eyes widened again. "What?"

"Just get on," he turned to his side and held out his wing for her to climb on.

Aerea just stared at him. "You're mad."

"I'm a dragon who you still need to name, by the way," he said.

"You don't have a name?"

"I didn't exactly have a good bond with humans, Aerea," he said sarcastically.

Aerea rolled her eyes. "You talk as if you're my age."

"That's because I am," he said.

She looked at him incredulously. "What?" She laughed.

"The day you woke up in this timeline was the day I hatched," he said.

She stayed quiet for a moment.
