Walking into the library, Aerea asked Madam Pince if they had any books on the Hebridean Black.
She looked up, confused. "Didn't you just -"
"Do we have them or not?" Aerea asked, irritated she won't answer the question.
"Row 13, section 3," Madam Pince said, surprised by her outburst.
Aerea walked to row 13 and looked through the books.
A Natural History of Dragons.
Dragonology: the complete book of dragons.
Aerea debated on grabbing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but decided against it, as she had already read it, and it didn't have a lot of information on the Hebridean Black itself.
Sitting down at a desk hidden in a dark corner, Aerea opened A Natural History of Dragons and flipped through the pages until she reached the Hebridean Black.
The Hebridean Black can be recognised as most of their scales are black, shadowing red ones that run down their back and neck. Their wings and frills are black-red mix, down to the wing-bones, which are black. Their eyes are orange-red.

The Hebridean Black is known for its viciousness. It is impossible for trained professionals to taim him. Even in the early years, when the houses Macklyn and Barlaeris, who were considered royalty, thought the dragon was too dangerous to encounter.
Aerea frowned. So her book wasn't lying when saying that the two houses feared the Hebridean Black.
But why didn't it harm her then?
Before she could continue, she heard a familiar voice.
"Aren't you supposed to be celebrating?" Louis said, taking a seat across from her.
Aerea looked up. "Aren't you supposed to be, too?"
He shrugged. "Never been a fan of parties."
Aerea cracked a small smile.
"You did good out there, you know?" Louis said.
"What? By walking towards the egg? The dragon didn't do anything! So much for the most dangerous dragon in the Wizarding World..." Aerea grumbled.
"So, you'd rather have been on the edge of death, is that it?"
Aerea shrugged. "If it had gotten me more points, yeah."
Louis shook his head, chuckling a bit. "You're crazy."
Aerea smirked. "Oh, I know."
The two engaged in a nice conversation, and the books on the table lay forgotten.
Little did everyone on the Hogwarts grounds know, the Hebridean Black had escaped his chains and flew around freely, waiting for the right time to show himself to his bonded rider...
