"Aerea, get back here!" Sirius yelled, bouding up the steps after the fifteen year old girl.
"Why should I? You're not my father!" She yelled back, going to her room.
Aerea has been at Grimmauld Place for only a week now, and all that has happened was Sirius and her arguing with each other.
"I'm the one looking after you, aren't I?" He took the steps two at a time.
By now, Sirius' mother was screeching all kinds of profanities at them.
"I don't need looking after. Technically speaking, I'm older than you," she pointed out and slammed her door shut.
Within a second, it was opened again. "Don't you dare play that card on me, young lady."
"Why? Because you can't handle it?"
Dumbledore had told the Order of the Phoenix about her true identity when the summer holidays had started.
Let's just say she wasn't exactly happy about it.
"Because I know you're still figuring it out," Sirius said, dropping his tone.
Aerea scoffed. "That didn't stop Dumbledore from telling people I don't even know."
Sirius sighed and sat next to her on her bed.
"You know why he had to tell. You're the best shot we have at winning this war with your.... magic..." Sirius said hesitantly.
Aerea looked at him with a sarcastic look. "The magic I don't even know how to use?"
"You had a book, right?"
"Yeah, and I still have no idea how to wield it," she said bitterly. "When I found out about it, I was furious. Not exactly what I was going for."
Sirius stayed quiet for a moment when suddenly the doorbell rang.
Aerea looked at him, confused. "There isn't another Order meeting until two days from now?"
Sirius gave her a sheepish smile. "I may or may not have forgotten to tell you that people are going to stay here..." He stood up and walked out of the room. Walburga still yelling profanities.
Aerea followed him down the stairs. "What do you mean? Who is staying?"
He got down the stairs and opened the door while Aerea was halfway down the last few steps.
The whole Weasley clan was in front of her.
"Welcome to my - uh - stuffy house," Sirius grimaced.
"Hello, Sirius," Mrs. Weasley gave him a pat on his shoulder and looked around the hall with an upturned nose. She was definitely going to clean this place.
Aerea glared at Sirius.
"Oh, hello there Aerea" Mrs. Weasley jumped slightly at the sight of Aerea in the stairwell.
Aerea gave her a small but polite smile then returned to shooting daggers at Sirius.
"What's she doing here?" Ron Weasley asked, looking at his mother to Sirius.
"She will be staying here for the summer. She had a - uh - falling out with her family..." Sirius lied, glancing at Aerea.
"Believe me, if I knew you lot were coming, I would've hidden in my room for the rest of the summer," Aerea said, smiling sarcastically at Ron.
