It was the start of summer term, and the third and final task was only a month away.
Snape came up to her that morning telling her that Bagman would be awaiting for her and the other champions at 9 o'clock on the Quidditch field.
So that was what she was doing now.
Aerea was thinking of all the possibilities of what it could be, but when she got there, it was the last thing she expected.
"What have they done to it?" Cedric said indignantly, stopping in his tracks.
The Quidditch field was no longer smooth and flat. It looked as though somebody had been building long, low walls all over it that twisted and crisscrossed in every direction.
"They're hedges!" Harry said, bending to examine the nearest one.
"Thanks for the clarification, Potter, we hadn't noticed," Aerea said sarcastically.
He gave her a sarcastic smile back.
"Hello there!" A cheery voice called.
Ludo Bagman was standing in the middle of the field with Krum and Fleur. Aerea, Cedric, and Harry made their way toward them, climbing over the hedges. Fleur flashed a smile at Aerea and beamed at Harry.
"Well, what d'you think?" Bagman said happily as the three of them climbed over the last hedge. "Growing nicely, aren't they? Give them a month, and Hagrid'll have them twenty feet high. Don't worry," he added, spotting the less-than-happy expressions on Harry and Cedric's faces, "you'll have your Quidditch field back to normal once the task is over! Now, I imagine you can guess what we're making her?"
No one spoke for a moment.
"Maze," Krum grunted.
"That's right!" Bagman said. "A maze. The third task's really straightforward. The Triwizard Cup will be placed in the centre of the maze. The first champion to touch it will receive full marks."
"We seemply 'ave to get through the maze?" Fleur asked.
"There will be obstacles," Bagman said happily, bouncing on the balls of his feet. "Hagrid is providing a number of creatures... then there will be dorks that must be broken... all that sort of thing, you know. Now, the champions who are leading on points will get a head start into the maze." Bagman grinned at Harry and Cedric. "Then Miss Malfoy will enter... mr. Krum... and lastly, Miss Delacour. But you'll all be in with a fighting chance, depending on how well you get past the obstacles. Should be fun, eh?"
"For you," Aerea muttered under her breath, scared what kind of creatures Hagrid has found...
"Very well... of you haven't got any questions, we'll go back to the castle, shall we, it's a bit chilly..."
Aerea climbed over the hedges again, starting up a conversation with Fleur.
When it was time to part ways, the two said their goodbyes, and Aerea made her way back into the castle.
She saw Krum and Harry walking in the opposite direction. Odd.
She didn't think much of it and went inside.
Walking into the common room, Aerea went to bed, not knowing what was happening outside at this very moment...

Aerea was in a room she vaguely recognised.
"Aerea."
Aerea jumped from where she was standing and turned around and was met with the same lilac eyes as hers.
