5: The Guilty Kiss

3rd person pov:

Hours pass by when hawks gets a text from enji.

After everything he was just told. Hawks ignores the message.

Enji:<Is everything alright? You weren't at your office. I came to get you for a date night.>

Hawks sighs and turns his phone off.

Haw:"I'd better get back before he worries. It was nice talking to you."

With a wave goodbye. Hawks flys to his office and lands on the roof.

Haw:"Fuck, now what do I do?"

Dabi:"There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you."

Hawks slides down to the balcony below to enter his office. So dabi follows behind him.

Haw:"Not now dabi."

Dabi:"What's wrong? Boss pulling on your leash?"

Haw:"If you loved someone, and then you found out about their abusive past. What would you do?"

Dabi:"I see. Well, I'd first walk up to them."

Dabi walks up to Hawks who's back is turned.

Dabi:"Then, I'd make sure they couldn't escape."

Dabi wraps one arm around Hawks. While the other grasps Hawks chin to turn his head back.

Dabi:"I'd then take charge of the situation before asking for them to explain themselves."

Haw:"D...Dabi uh-"

Dabi kisses hawks. Then the hero faces dabi to deepen the kiss. Only after a few moments. Does he realize what's happening and pushes him away.

Haw:"Is sorry, but I gotta go. The information you want is in my desk."

Hawks flys away. So dabi looks in the desk. He pulls out the drawings and looks for a moment before finding the thumb drive. As a portal opens. Dabi hums a tune. One of a child's nursery rhythm.

When hawks gets home. He runs past enji and straight for a shower.

Enji hears the door slam. So he goes to the bedroom to get Hawks fluffy blanket and plush ready.

Enji:"Rough day?"

Haw:"You have no idea. After I get out. Can we talk?"

Enji:"Sure thing."

Enji sits on the bed waiting. Then, once Hawks sits down. The mood changes.

Haw:"I found out what those drawings are. Someone has asked me to take on a new target."

Enji:"Is that what's hot you stressed?"

Haw:"They've asked me to kill you.  Why would they ask that and mention touya in a letter?"

Enji stands infront of the winged hero and gets on his knees.

Enji:"I'm a terrible father, husband, and hero. From the quirk arranged marriage, to the abuse I put my family through. All in hopes of surpassing all might. I pushed my dreams onto them, and it got touya killed. If I could take it back. I would've let them choose what they wanted. Instead of living through them. Maybe then, he would still be alive. I don't ask for forgiveness. Only a chance to change, and make things right."

Hawks hugs enji who has started to cry.

Haw:"I'll support you in your journey ahead. Now then, time to change out."

Hawks smirks as feathers pull up a colar, muzzle, blindfold,  earplugs, ropes, and vibrators.

Enji blushes at what's to come.

Elsewhere, dabi is laying in bed. While his computer downloads information that Hawks gave. He gently strokes over his lips with his thumb and smiles.

Dabi:"Not as bad as I thought it would be."

When enji walks back into the bedroom. He sees a paper on the bed beside hawks. When he looks at it. He sees a bird drawing with broken legs and in a cage. Surrounded by flames.

Enji looks around to see no one. So he stands guard all night.
