The fire crackled low as Vicky, Nancy, and Sonya huddled close, eyes locked on Bea like they were detectives about to solve the biggest mystery.
Vicky leaned forward, voice low but insistent. "Bea, we have to know... Is it really true? You and Nico never... you know? No sex at all?"
Nancy's eyes were wide, disbelief creeping in. "Like, seriously? After all this time? You barely even kissed?"
Sonya bit her lip, her tone half teasing, half desperate. "Are you messing with us? Because that's... insane."
Bea stretched out lazily, amber eyes gleaming with calm confidence. "Yep. Not a thing."
The three girls blinked, then all at once, their mouths fell open.
Vicky spluttered, "Wait, what?! But how? Why? That's impossible!"
Nancy shook her head, laughing nervously. "I mean... are you sure you guys aren't just stuck in some weird friend zone forever?"
Sonya chuckled, "Or maybe you're just really good at self-control?"
Bea's smile was cheeky but sincere. "Honestly? We've been through hell and back. Rushing into anything physical? Doesn't make sense for us right now."
Vicky's jaw dropped further. "I can't even... I'm so shocked. Like, how do you even do that? You're basically married."
Nancy was still processing. "This is wild. I'd have thought for sure you two were way past that."
Bea just shook her head with a laugh. "Guess we're just rewriting the rules."
The girls exchanged stunned looks before bursting into laughter, still shaking their heads in disbelief.
Vicky grinned, "Okay, Bea, you officially win at relationship patience."
Bea glanced toward Nico, who was oblivious to the chaos his relationship was causing.
"Some things," she whispered, "are worth waiting for."
