The class had ended, and the students stretched, sighed in relief, and began packing up to go home.

"Ryu, let's go to the gym together," Aeris said.

"No dance club today?" Ryu asked.

"Nope," Aeris replied.

"See ya, Ae-san," Fuji called out.

"Bye, Ae-san!" Sana said, hugging her.

As they walked out, they saw Ennoshita.

"Psst," Aeris called.

Ennoshita looked over. "Hi, Nanachan. No dance club?"

Aeris shook her head, and the three of them headed to the gym together. Aeris went to the bathroom to change clothes and saw Yachi and Kiyoko.

"You two did great on the exams," Aeris said.

"Yeah, that was nerve-wracking," Yachi admitted.

"Good, I hope the boys passed too," Kiyoko added.

They all went inside the gym.

"Hello everyone, did you guys do great?" Aeris asked with a smile.

They all groaned in response.

"Please, Nanachan," Tobio pleaded.

"I don't want to go back to the past," Noya said, making Aeris laugh and shake her head.

Year 2 Class 3 held their breath, anxiety hanging in the air as their advisor, Nishimaya-sensei, prepared to announce the rankings for the class.

"Okay, class, these are the test results. I'll announce the top 5 performers first, and then I'll address those who need to retake the exam. I'll talk to you after class," Nishimaya-sensei announced.

Aeris and her classmates prayed, their hopes set on enjoying their upcoming summer.

"Ryu, you okay?" Aeris asked, her face tense with anticipation. Glancing around, she noticed her seatmates wearing similar expressions. Aeris couldn't help but let out a wry chuckle.

Nishimaya-sensei continued, "Let's start with the top 5, then top 4, and so on. Koyogani Daisuke, next is Sakuma Harue, Inouye Reiko, and our top 2 is Kageyama Aeris. And, as usual, our top 1 is Watanabe Naoko. Let's give them a round of applause."

Aeris's friends couldn't hide their surprise. "I thought you didn't study well, Nanachan," Jiro remarked.

"You've betrayed us," Kai chimed in, leading to an eruption of laughter.

Aeris stood up and bowed, saying, "Sorry, guys. I didn't expect this outcome."

"We hate you," Jiro playfully exclaimed, and the class responded with boos, all in good spirits.
