Today, Kaito Kuroba stood in front of his new classroom, waiting for the teacher, Jodie-sensei, to let him in.
"You may come in, Kuroba-kun," when he heard that, he opened the door and threw a very small smoke bomb with confetti.
"Hello, my name is Kuroba Kaito, magician extraordinaire. It's nice to meet you all. I hope we all get along nicely," he said, and he could hear the surprised gasps of his new classmates, saying he looks like someone or something. He chose to ignore it and, with a snap of his fingers, every desk had blue roses on it. Of course, they were fake roses, and he placed one on the teacher's desk as well.
"You may sit next to Kudo-kun... Wait, speaking of Kudo-kun, where is he? Does anyone know?" Jodie-sensei asked while the students stayed silent. Until a girl raised her hand, who, for Kaito, looked so much like Aoko. He remembered Mouri Ran, Conan's guardian.
'So, I'm her classmate. I guess that's good. Maybe she will tell me about Conan. But she will be suspicious,... arghh whatever,' Kaito thought.
"Yes, Mouri-chan?" the teacher said.
"Ma'am, Shinichi just messaged me a while ago. He wants to apologize and said he was called for help by Inspector Megure. I think it's a murder case. He said he'll finish it as soon as he can," the Mouri girl stated. That helped Kaito find out that this Kudo Shinichi is a detective, and for some reason, the name is familiar to him.
"Well, we can't do anything, can we? Well, Kuroba-kun, sit next to that empty chair near the window." Kaito just nodded and walked toward his chair.
The discussion started, and as much as Kaito liked to prank them all, he behaved since he didn't want to create a bad impression to Tantei-kun's guardian, right? He busied himself by thinking about his search for his Tantei-kun. Suddenly, the door slammed open loudly, breaking Kaito from his thoughts.
Everyone looked toward the door and saw a boy breathing heavily.
"Kudo-kun, are you okay?" the teacher asked, worried.
'So, that's Kudo Shinichi?' Kaito thought.
"Yes, thank you for your concern, and I'm sorry again for being late, Jodie-sensei," Shinichi said, looking at the teacher while scratching his head. When Kaito saw the boy, he couldn't believe it. Not because they looked alike, except for the eye color and hairstyle, but because he looked like Edogawa Conan.
'He looks so much like Tantei-kun! An older version of Tantei-kun without glasses!' Kaito thought and continued to look at the boy and he can totally see the really huge similarities not between shinichi and himself but the similarities between conan and shinichi.

"It's fine. Take your seat now," Jodie-sensei said as Shinichi nodded with a smile and kaito can clearly tell it was force or not really genuine. shinichi went toward his chair and sat where he saw/met an 'unfamiliar' face.
"You must be the transfer student. My name is Kudo Shinichi. Nice to meet you," Shinichi said as he took a seat.
"Huh... Ah, I'm Kuroba Kaito, magician extraordinaire. Nice to meet you," Kaito stated, putting on his poker face and smiled. He gave Shinichi a blue rose, a real rose, not fake like the others earlier. He didn't know why; he just felt like it.Maybe he just want to cheer up shinichi who is a little sad and gloomy from kaito perspective
"Thank you, Kuroba-kun," Shinichi was surprised first but smile sadly as he took the flower and give a little sniff before putting it behind his ear.

"Aside from being sad and gloomy...He's so beautiful!!! How is it possible for a male to be so beautiful? He's more beautiful than Akako or any other girls i met!!" he thought but kept his poker face.
"Please, just call me Kaito," he said, and Shinichi nodded.
"Alright, then. Just call me Shinichi." They kaito smiled and but shinichi smile sadly before he began to listen to the teacher discussion
kaito didn't like how his new classmate and future friend is sad thus this start to a new mission "become friends with shinichi and make him smile genuinely" who knows maybe shinichi knows where tantei kun is. he then began to listen to the teacher,as he plan his two mission
