Another day, another morning for school, but it seems like the weather isn't the nicest because... it's raining very, very heavily like seriously you might even mistake it for a typhoon.

Anyways, we can see our favorite magician walking in the wet road, holding an umbrella, obviously, clearly heading toward the train station.

"It's been raining for a while now, and here I thought the weather was going to be nice today," .Kaito grumbled, his brow furrowed, while frowning. It had been raining since he came home the day after he and Shinichi went to the cafe together.

He still couldn't forget the discussion he had with his mother that night. Kaito with a sigh, looked at the necklace where Pandora was.

He sighed angain before looking at the cloudy and rainy sky as he continued to walk towards the train station.

After a few minutes of riding the crowded train (much to Kaito's annoyance) and walking towards Teitan High, Kaito finally arrived at his school.

Entering his classroom, Kaito looked around for Shinichi, but unfortunately, it seemed like Shinichi haven't arrived yet.

Kaito frowned when he didn't see Shinichi and looked at his wristwatch. And he saw that there were only 15 minutes left before the class started.

"Maybe he encountered a case again or got a call from the inspector to help them," Kaito murmured as he sat in his chair, pouting. He didn't even realize nor noticed that someone had heard him.

"He probably did," a girl's voice stated suddenly which made kaito jolt in surprised just a tiny little bit only.

Kaito looked at the voice and saw that it was Mouri Ran, Conan's guardian and Shinichi's childhood friend and ex-girlfriend. Beside her was the heiress of the Suzuki family, Suzuki Sonoko.

"sorry did i startled you?"ran stted apologetic and kaito just smile

"Ah, no dont worry nice to meet you guys again, and as you already know my name is kuroba kaito and you're Mouri-chan and Suzuki-chan, right? The ones I met in the park. I didn't notice you two were my classmates," Kaito stated with a smile, clearly lying, of course. He noticed them, but he was so busy befriending Shinichi that he didn't hang out with his other classmates.

"Well, we understand. We noticed that you were pretty busy trying to hang out with Shinichi every day," Ran stated while smiling. reassuring him tht it was fine

"And also fail every time," Sonoko added. Kaito awkwardly laughed at that while Ran hit Sonoko's shoulder lightly, giving her a hint that she shouldn't say that.

"Well, yeah, but it all worked out in the end," Kaito stated, and the two girls smiled.

"I guess you're right. Please continue to look after and be friends Shinichi from now on." Ran stated in such a gentle tone. Kaito realized how worried Ran must have been all this time for Shinichi.

After all, Shinichi was still her childhood friend, and according to Shinichi, their romantic feelings turned into sibling love, so they must have treated each other as siblings.

"I will. You don't have to worry about your childhood friend, Mouri-chan," Kaito stated as he looked at Ran's shocked face then turn into a soft gaze.

"So Shinichi already told you that we were childhood friends? Did he also tell you about us being..." Ran asked, and Sonoko, who was still shocked because Shinichi isn't someone who will share anything like that to someone he barely knows, chimed in.

"Well, yeah, he did. He also told me how your romantic feelings turned into sibling love, and well... how awkward you two are every time you meet, but you still visit and talk to him," Kaito said, not sure if he was supposed to tell this to them, but he did anyway.

"He also wishes that one day your friendship will come back. After all, Shinichi still thinks of you as his sister," Kaito continued and smiled at the girls.

"I see," Ran smiled, happy that Shinichi still sees her as a sister and also that he finally has someone he can trust enough to tell these things. But she wondered if the time would ever come where Shinichi would trust Kaito more than enough to tell him about his 'biggest' secret.

"You should have lunch with us next time, Mouri-chan, and you too, Suzuki-chan. I'm sure that will help for you guys to be close to Shinichi again, and pls dont tell shinichi what i said today" Kaito stated with a smile as he put his index finger in his lips. The two girls giggles but still nodded with a smile.
