She felt like she was at the top of the world. She was the most famous name in architecture with her own tv show, had billions of dollars and donated to charities, lived in a gorgeous apartment building that she designed herself, and was recieving a nobel peace prize for her work in the peace corps.

She walked out of her apartment and got into her car. Today was a busy day for her.

First, she had a book signing for her autobiography.
Second, she had a meeting to discuss there next major company expansion.
Third, she was invited to speak at the grand opening of new courthouse she designed downtown.
After that, she had her first date with the man she met on match.com.

She was nervous about the last one. She hadn't had a date since her ex-boyfriend, Scott, dumped her in senior year of high school.

Traffic is always terrible in Manhattan so Annaneth was stuck in traffic. She looked out her window to see a familiar face on a billboard.

'Get your tickets today for the Broadway musical Les Miserables! Starring Chelsea Stevenson as Cosette and Piper McLean in her Broadway debut as Eponine!"

Piper McLean... Where had Annabeth heard that name before?

She decided not to think about it. The light turned green. She turned left and then pulled into a parking space. She walked into the bookstore and was swarmed by fans.

She sat down and started signing book after book. But she couldn't focus, the name Piper McLean etched in her brain and her billboard picture was burned into her memory.

Who was Piper McLean? Why was she so familiar?

When she left the signing it was about 11:30. 3 hours of book signing was very boring. She called her assistant, Lilian, and had her buy tickets to Les Miserables for next Thursday at ten, front row.

She got back into her car and drove to her office building on 42nd street. She got into the elevator and went up to the 20th floor. She passed by cubicles and offices saying hello to all her workers. Lilian caught up with her.

"Good morning Annabeth, I have your ice coffee with extra sugar here for you and your files for your meeting which starts in 15 minutes," she said in a sweet southern accent. She was born and raised in Alabama, "Oh I also got you two tickets instead of one to that musical. in case, you know, you and your online friend hit it off," she nudged Annabeth and winked.

She may have been her assistant but they were also close friends.

"But one more thing, why do you wanna see a musical? You've never been into that sort of stuff, sugar," she called everyone sugar.

"Well I saw on a billboard this picture of a girl who seemed familiar was making her broadway debut and i couldnt figure out where I've seen her before. The billboard also said her name is Piper McLean and that name seems vaguely familiar also, so I want to check it out," Annabeth said before rushing off to her meeting.

5 short hours filled with graphs and designs went by quick for Annabeth. She really loved her job.

She left the meeting and headed out to the new courtroom. She got there at 4 o'clock exactly.

She got out of her car and was applauded by the crowd. She walked up to the podium and gave a speech about how more justice and peace could be made in this new building and other stuff like that. She cut the ribbon, mingked for a little but then went home at 5 o'clock.

That left her thirty minutes to get ready for her date. She took a quick shower, blow dryed her hair and put on a knee length, deep purple dress.

Her date arrived and knocked on her door.
