Octavian

Octavian was still at the hospital. He didn't really have anywhere to go. He missed the due date for his rent. So now he would be evicted.

He was still in the waitig room staring blankly at the door when a short girl walked it.

She had a petite nose and thin gold hair. Hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin.

She scowled at Octavian, stormed over and slapped him.

"Ow! What was that for!" He yelled in shock.

"For everything you did to my sister and I," she said.

Octavians memory stirred. The girl he saw in front of him was Lacey McLean.

"Leo Valdez said you might like to see me, why to terrorize me more? To string my jacket on a flagpole in the middle of winter again? Or-" she was cut off by her sister Piper.

"Lacey he's a nice person now, he's my friend," Piper said.

Hearing her call him a friend was a weird feeling. He never really had any friends. Maybe that's why he was so mean.

"Friends? With him?!" Lacey snarled.

"Lacey please I-" he started.

"Piper may have forgiven you but I haven't."

"Lacey come back!" He yelled after her.

"Why would I?" She yelled back.

Hospital security soon had to drag he out for all the profanity she was shouting at him.

Piper sat down next to Octavian.

"She hates you, but at least she can say it to your face now," Piper said.

"Yeah, thats just great," he replied sarcastically.

"I'm gonna try to talk to her, you have changed, she just needs to know that," Piper said.

Octavian didn't believe it.
