Sammy took Percy to an obvious hiding spot, his apartment.

He made it seem like his favorite place to hide people was in watehouses, but that's not true, he likes to confuse people.

No one ever looks in the obvious spot.

Even if Thalia, Annabeth, and Luke figured out that he hid him in the obvious spot they would overthink, they would think 'wait Sammy only wants is to think hes in an obvious spot so we would waste time searching in those places, so he's hiding him in another remote spot,' and that paradox would continue on and on with each new theory on whether Percy was hidden in the obvious spot or not.

Paradoxes were the foundation of wild goose chases.

Sammy sat and waited as Percy slowly woke up from his unconciousness, Percy was tied up of course.

When Percy saw he was back at his home he was confused.

"Why are you doing this," Percy fumed.

"Why not? I just love a good mystery, especially watching how everyone else tries
to solve it when I'm the only ome capable of a solution," He grinned, "the paradox, they will never know your at you own home, the paradox."

"You're insane," Percy said through gritted teeth.

"Oh why thank you," Sammy responded, "I really don't understand why everyone is so mad at me, it's only a game."

"You sick twisted bastard," Percy spat.

"I'm in perfect health no illness here," he replied, "now don't go saying the typical stuff 'oh do you know how much pain you've caused,' or 'what's so terrible about your past that led you to do this,' or the classic 'you will pay,' lines. They're all so boring, I had a great childhood, I just like to see other people in pain, it's my drug."

Sammy circled Percy's chair trying not to laugh at how stupid everyone else around him is.

Just then Percy started laughing. Only Sammy was allowed to enjoy this.

"What, why are you laughing?" Sammy questioned, "you're not supposed to enjoy this."

"Oh, my friends have fighred out the paradox, I'm wired," Percy said.

"What?!" Sammy screamed.

"They're on there way now," Percy laughed.

Sammy was doomed. Hed boarded up the windows earlier, nalied the doors shut, but being from the military Thalia could kick them down.

Sammy knew his plan was over.
