Piper woke up to Chelsea shaking her. Piper looked at her watch.

12:30 pm

"Chelsea we have another half hour until we start again why did you wake me up?" Piper conplained.

"Leo was just arrested," she said with a tone of urgency and shock.

"What!" Piper was shocked.

"Yeah, he's a murder suspect they said." Chelsea's voice quivered.

"Murder?!" Piper was even more shocked.

"Yeah, and two hot men took him away. One of them was a blond." Chelsea grinned.

"Chelsea I do not need you trying to set me up with someone right now." Piper told her.

"But you know how much you like blonds." She persueded.

"Chelsea."

"What?"

"Please shut up."

A bell rang time for act two.

Chelsea and Piper went back to help set up the barricade because Leo was gone. The music began to play and another co star, Nicholas Westly, began to sing.

Do you hear the people sing?

Piper noticed a bright sticky note on a chair in the barricade.

Singing the song of angry men.

Piper read the note.

It is music of the people who will not be slaves again.

"Stop!" She yelled.

"Piper whats wrong?" Her director Mr. Finch asked.

"I found this note on the barricade. It says 'watch out Leo Valdez your end may be near.' this is a death threat to Leo!" She exclaimed.

Piper ran out the door, still in costume, and sprinted all the way down to the police station. she bolted through the door.

"Excuse me, but was a Leo Valdez taken into a holding cell here by any chance?" She asked the lady at the front desk.

"Um, yes. May I ask, who are you?" She was looking at her costume.

"Oh, I'm in the broadway musical Les Mis could I speak with the men who took him into custody?" She asked.

The woman pushed a button on an intercom.

"Special Agent Jackson, a lady is looking for you," she said.

Piper was sent over to the waiting seats. about five minutes later a tall man with dark hair came in.

"Are you the guy who took Leo?" She demanded.

"Yes I am, aren't you Piper McLean?" He asked.

"Yeah and you're Percy Jackson, I remember you from highschool! I need to talk to you in private, though," Piper told him.

He took her into an interrogation room where a blond man was.

"You!" She pointed to the man, "what is he doing here!" She demanded.

"You know him?" Percy asked.

"Oh I know him alright, and I don't want him here," Piper glared at the man.

"What did I do?" The man asked.

"Oh, you don't remember do you?" She fumed.

Piper calmed down.

"This isn't the tine or place to discuss this," she turned to Percy, "Percy, could you please get him to leave?" She asked calmly.

Percy told him to leave.

Piper handed him the death threat note.

"I just wanted to make sure that you protected him," she said quietly.

"We will keep him safe, Piper. Um do you know where Leo was February 9th from 10 pm to 3am?" percy asked.

"He was with me, He was teaching me how to tap dance because next year I'm auditioning for a new musical," Piper explained.

"Now I know why he didn't want to tell me," Percy paused, "and now Leo is in real danger."
