Jason and Grover were complete opposites. Jason was filled with anger, driven by it. Grover was calm and rational. They surprisingly made a great team.
Jason was a lot like Percy. He was always trying to save people, do good, like justice was his middle name.
By the end of the first day of searching warehouses they found nothing. Jason got angrier. Percy was healing but still unconcious.
Grover had a feeling this man would stop at nothing to succeed. He liked that kind of determination.
Grover and Jason searched two warehouse plants the next day. At the end of the day they found nothing.
The next two days they still found mothing and Jason was furious.
"When I find Sammy I will make sure he gets what he deserves. I swear I will make sure he ends up on Death Row!" He yelled in the last empty warehouse of that day.
"I couldn't agree more," Grover said, "where's the next warehouse plant?"
"14th street," Jason said, "its the last one, Pipers gotta be there."
Grover had a feeling Piper was someone he should know about.
"So, is this Piper chick girlfriend or something," Grover asked, "cause she seems like a special girl for all this attention."
Jason started to blush.
"What? No no, I just met her a week ago. She helped me and Percy figure out the murderer, helped figure out what happened to my ex wife," Jason sputtered.
Grover could tell he liked this Piper girl.
"Well, do you like Piper? C'mon you cam tell me man," Grover patted Jason on the back.
"I don't want to talk about it," he muttered.
"C'mon man you cant trust me-"
"I said I don't want to talk about it."
"Are you sure? Cause-"
"I SAID I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!" His face was no longer blush red, just furious red.
Grover went silent.
He followed a fuming Jason to the car and they drove to the next warehouse on the list.
