Rossiya pov

After the main ceremony everyone moved to the hall, as Hades and I sat at the high table I could feel the electricity crackling between us. Every hair on my body was standing straight with anticipation of what would happen later, so much so that the thought of people watching the consummation barely registered in my mind.

I tried to focus on my food while watching the crowd mingle with each other. A warm hand settled on my bare thigh making me almost choke on my food. In my peripheral vision he looked perfectly composed but I didn't miss the smirk on his lips. Hades slid his hand further up my thigh and a couldn't help small whimper that escaped my throat. He gave my thigh a squeeze and I instinctively pressed my thighs together, unable to avoid the pool of liquid heat that was forming. I should not in any way be feeling like this after everything, but I was.

"You should wear dresses like this more often Siya, but as much as I love this dress on you I can't wait to take it off," he whispered in my ear before licking the shell of it. I stood up and left, it was the only thing I could do but I didn't miss the sound of his laughter as I did so.

My face was hot, it was probably competing with a tomato with the redness. I needed some air.

The castle was -not to my surprise- empty. I walked around until I reached the west wing, I had never been here before. Still needing time to cool off from Hades strange games I chose to explore it and what I found there easily made it my favorite part of the castle.

There was an indoor garden, much much prettier than the others I had seen here. It looked like something out of a fantasy and I couldn't resist getting lost in the serenity of this place. As I was admiring the amaryllis' my trance was broken by something piercing my neck.

Almost immediately my body turned into lead and a searing pain followed. I felt my senses dull but not enough for me to not notice that I was surrounded.

This was an ambush.
But why?

There was no time for questions, I had to get out of here now. I tried teleporting but it didn't work, the men just stood there watching me.

"Sfagí"
"Vörelïï"
Nothing. Alarms started going off in my head as I realized that they had somehow jammed both my Olympian and fae magic. The pain made my knees buckle and sent me into a coughing fit of blood.

When I couldn't get through to Anthony or Laurel and Aegaeon. "How does it feel to know your life is in the hands of someone else half breed?"

Even though my senses were almost nonexistent, I had retained my hearing and I knew that voice. It was the werewolf king but how was he here?

I hissed in pain as one of his men grabbed me by the hair. "You killed my heir, my son, and you thought I would just let that go?"

"Your son tried to rape and kill me!"

My head snapped to the side from his slap. "You were on our lands."

"He had the stench of countless people he killed on him, your son wreaked of innocent blood and your excuse for it is that they were in your lands?"

I don't know if it was because my magic was blocked or if it was because my life was in immediate danger but something flickered to life inside me. It was small but more powerful than the magic I already had. One of us had to leave this place alive and I'd be damned if it was him.

Whatever they had dosed me with was canceled out and although I didn't have any powers, my was strong enough to go hand to hand. It was times like this I was thankful for Ares making me carry weapons wherever I went.

I twisted my body so that the man holding me by the hair was right in front of me and I swiped the blade across his neck without hesitation. The king looked stunned for a moment before regaining his composure, "don't just stand there, kill her!"

The odds were more than stacked against me, but I had fought a hecantoncheire and won. Soon enough only the king was left and even if I had sustained injuries of my own I still had some fight in me. "If you kill me, you'll be making an enemy of the werewolf race."

I let out a humorless laughter, "did you think about making an enemy out of Hades and The fae when you attacked me in my own home?" I didn't allow him to answer before I used my speed to circle behind him and rip his head clean off his shoulders.

The flame was growing smaller and smaller, I had to get back to the ball.

I dragged my body through the halls cursing myself and that dog for ruining my day. When I entered the ballroom Hades was the first to notice. Panic etched onto his face as he looked me up and down and then at the head in my right hand. I tossed it further into the room right when my body gave out but before I hit the floor I was secured in his warm embrace.

"This is nice," were the last words I said before being sucked into oblivion.
