Rossiya pov

"This might hurt but try your best to bear with me," he said while placing his hands on both sides of my head. They were colder, his hands but the moment we came into skin to skin contact I realized he was just like me. A primordial god with the power of a nekromanteia, I couldn't even begin to imagine the devastating power he possessed so of course removing the effects of an ancient magical poison was child's play.

Aerios began to chant in a language that sounded like nothing I'd ever heard before and the moment he did a searing pain spread throughout my body. It took everything in me not to scream, much less push him away but my legs gave out. The longer he went the more excruciating it got until I was literally trying to pry his hands from my head.

I was screaming bloody murder by this point, this was more painful than anything the priests put me through. It was like my body was being ripped apart from all sides, after what seemed like an eternity everything stopped. My head had never felt so clear and my body so light.

"There, now you're completely clean and your kind is intact."

"How are you able to use such magic?"

He cocked his head to the side and gave me a slight smile. "I'm one of the first beings in all of creation little god, there is very little I don't know." I could sense a double meaning to his words but didn't dwell on it.

"Can you teach me?"

"I can't teach you anything little god. It's in your blood, you just need to channel it. However I'll let you in on a secret, as a nekromanteia you're able to raise even the dead you haven't killed, those who have been long dead. Use that wisely"

I was about to argue when he cut me off, "you best get going now Rossiya; they're looking for you." I had completely lost track of time, if I had been gone for long then Varda would've known by now and would be losing his mind.

"Whatever you do little god, don't trust Zeus."
That was the last thing I heard before a fog swallowed me whole and I was suddenly back in my room. I needed to get out of here.

**

The halls were empty, I had walked all the way to the eastern exit without meeting a single guard or maid, that was weird but I wasn't going to dwell on it. As soon as I stepped out the door I bolted and made a beeline for the castle, I needed to tell my uncle what they were planning on doing to me and my cousin.

I didn't miss the number of undercover guards combing through the streets, what had happened that was serious enough to dispatch the elite guards?
I paid them no mind, the castle was still a long way from here. The two men that had been following me from the town square weren't doing a very good job at keeping themselves hidden but I didn't react. We could both be going in the same direction right? Right.

Just as I rounded the corner two other men stopped me dead in my tracks.

I was being herded.

Before I knew what was happening a hand covered my mouth and I was dragged into the nearby alleyway. "Whats a pretty girl like you doing all alone?" The man with a hand on my mouth asked letting go.

"What's it to you?" I spat back, not in the mood to entertain any kind of nonsense after what those sick bastards had put me through. "She's, got an attitude. That's the first for a half breed."

There was no need to ask them how they knew, fae had a very distinct and unmistakable scent. Of course I reeked of mixed blood. The look in their eyes was clear, "look, I don't want any trouble just let me-" my head whipped to the side as the slap echoed in the quiet alley. It took me a few seconds to realize I had been slapped, I didn't move.

Not from shock, but because something in me had reared its ugly head and was now clawing at my patience. I turned my head to face him, ignoring the hand groping my breast. Our eyes met, next thing he knew the bastard legs gave out as he started to blood from every orifice. You couldn't make out what he was saying past him choking on his own blood.

A few more second and he was lying motionless in a pool of his own filthy blood. The other two stared past me, presumably at their friend who had been too close for comfort. They tried to make a run for it but it was too late.

I looked at their bodies, contemplating whether or not I should bring them back just to kill them over and over but before I could decide someone stepped into the alley, they must've heard the screaming.

To my surprise it was a guard. He stared at the four men and back at me, "take me to the castle."

We walked in silence, him being a few feet away from me. I don't think he recognized me or maybe he did and was trying to keep his wits about him. Soon enough we were walking through the castle gates and then to the throne room.

I could hear muffled yelling all the way from down the hall, the closer we got the more distinct the words got.

"-we were only trying to help the princess!"

"Help? HELP?"

"YOU NOT ONLY SHACKLED MY WIFE, THE QUEEN OF THE UNDERWORLD LIKE A COMMON SLAVE BUT WERE TOO PREOCCUPIED WITH EATING AND SHITTING TO NOTICE ONE OF YOUR MEN TAKE HER!!"

I stopped just in time before bumping into the guard, that voice was unmistakable. Livid, but unmistakable nonetheless.

The door opened and his back was to me while he held one of the priests by the neck.

"Hades?"
