"Darling, darling"

Skylar heard her father's hurried voice from out of the door. Her eyes grew big and she sat up straight.

"Are you alright, darling?" Henry asked, knocking once more.

Skylar nodded. "Yes dad, I am alright." she said loudly, and looked down at her t-shirt. The blood soaked t-shirt, which had a combination of her own blood, the hawk's and the serpent's was pasted to her skin, and she was reeking in its bad smell. Skylar bit her lip. How was she going to explain all of this to her father?

"Could you please open the door, Sky." Henry knocked loudly. His voice was growing restless. Skylar scratched her cheek, wondering what to do, and sighing, thinking that she would explain everything to him, Skylar looked up at the door. She closed her eyes and raised her hands up in the air, folding her fingers, so that it looked as though she was holding the door's locker. Skylar turned her hand.

The door creaked open slowly, and Henry peeped in. His eyes scanned around the room, and finally it fell on Skylar, who was sitting on the bed.

"WHAT HAPPENED SKY?"

Henry shouted and he stumbled back, holding his chest in pain.

"DAD!!"

Skylar screamed, and she leapt from the bed, coming towards her father.

"I am alright, I am alright." Henry said, holding his hand up and stopping Skylar. He took some deep breaths and regained back to his old usual self once more. Henry looked up at Skylar, and saw that she was looking at him with a worried expression in her eyes.

"I am alright, darling." Henry said more calmly, and Skylar sighed. She held Henry's hand and pulled him towards the bed. He sat on it and turned towards Skylar, who was sitting cross legged beside him.

"What is this, Sky?" Henry asked, indicating the blood with his head. His eyebrows were furrowed and he looked very worried. Skylar sighed. She looked down at her knotted fingers.

"It's a long story, dad." she mumbled, and she pushed the strand of her hair behind her ear. Henry leaned in.

"I have time." he said, and Skylar chuckled. She sighed and started.

She told Henry all about how she had fallen asleep over her notes, the dream she had had, how she was woken up, and how the room changed around her, how she had seen the monsters she had slayed in her dream, and how it had happened in reality as well. Then, when she moved on to tell him about the tree woman, Henry's face grew red in anger, and he pushed his glasses up his nose.

"She killed you?" Henry shouted. Skylar nodded, patting his upper arm.

"No more emotionally high situations, okay Mr. Henry?" she asked, smiling, but Henry shrugged, trying to hide the smile up on his face. He turned to her side once more.

"Then what happened, darling?" he asked, trying to sound calm, after taking some deep breaths. Skylar chuckled.

"Too interesting huh?" she asked, as Henry smiled and looked down at his feet.

Skylar took a deep breath and she continued. She told him about how she had woken up again, and all about meeting Agatha, listening to her side of the story, and how she had solved a major part of a question regarding her birthmark.

"I, I, I knew it had something to do with this dad." she said, touching the back of her neck. She pushedd the strand of hair that was falling over her eyebrows. "I had a hunch, but I didn't know to what extent that was accurate." she looked at him. Henry's eyebrows were scrunched.
