Skylar turned around her, and she pressed her hands over her eyes as the light was too bright for her. After getting over the momentary surprise, Skylar closed her opened mouth and looked at her. Skylar could not have been more surprised. She was literally a human fireball. Skylar saw that the woman was flaming and only the shape of her body was visible. Skylar could not make any features in the face or even see whether she was turning at her or not.
"Hi!" the fire woman's drawling voice rang around the room. Skylar felt a shiver run down through her spine but she did not show that she was afraid.
"Seems like that you are surprised to see me." the fire woman chuckled. Skylar composed herself and rolled her eyes as though she was not affected by her presence.
"Nah huh." she said. Skylar felt some men cower behind her. She waited.
The fire woman was hovering in mid air and she started to descend. Skylar followed her actions. The red hot angry flames around the woman started to reduce and Skylar looked carefully at her. She slowly started to get into focus and Skylar realized that she was more beautiful than any of her sisters. The woman in front of her was built in a very petite shape and her lacy but heavy white dress flowed gracefully around her. The brightness that had come to the room with her arrival seemed to increase more, as the shadow of the fire danced behind the woman. Her face was too small, and her closed eyes looked as though they were two long tear drops. Her nose was as sharp as a dagger and her thin lips were almost invisible. The woman's rosy cheeks were puffed a little, but Skylar knew that she was the most beautiful out of all her sisters.
Skylar bit her lips. The woman looked as though she was not older a day than she was sixteen years. She was too young to be true and had maintained herself well for all the years she had gone behind, in search of power.
The woman slowly opened her eyes, and Skylar realized why she had been closing her eyes for so long. Unlike her features which were too beautiful, her eyes were too scary. Her dark eyeballs were red and bloodshot, and the white eyeballs were turned black. A shadow of a figure eight was etched on the center of her red eyeballs. Skylar bit the insides of her cheek. She had been too courageous to come inside and to meet her, but when she had met her all of a sudden, she was not able to get over the fear that was starting to cloud over her. Skylar felt her inner voice hide somewhere that was not visible to her, and Skylar knew that she was not going to have her support through the fight. She knew that she was alone.
The woman moved her thin lips to the side. Not even a wrinkle or a line in her face was visible. Skylar raised her chin up. She was going to fight bravely.
"Well well well." the woman chanted. She brought her outstretched arms closer and grasped her fingers. She tilted her head to the side and looked at Skylar.
Skylar did not reply. "I knew you would come in search of me." she said, looking behind Skylar, and dismissing the men with a wave of her hand. Skylar heard the men's hurried footsteps leave the room and she saw the woman's eyes fall on Dre's dead and Donald's unconscious bodies. Skylar was feeling happy as she saw the woman grit her teeth in anger. Her nostrils flared angrily and SKylar was sure that she had seen smoke issue from out of her ears. The woman balled her fists and she composed herself soon.
"I don't think we need companions, right, Skylar?" she asked, and turned towards the bodies once more. "It should be just the two of us." she added, and with one sweep of her hand, the bodies disappeared. She slowly turned towards Skylar once more. Skylar was able to feel the tension in the room.
"So, tell me." the woman asked, and Skylar lifted her head up to look at her. "Why are you here suddenly?" she cocked her head to the side, examining Skylar as though she was an interesting object to experiment. "I know I have been trying to get you here, and I did get you here." the woman said, nodding. She jerked her head to the side and her hair went in a graceful arc. "But I wonder what made you to show up suddenly, without an invitation." she added, her voice drawling and ringing around the closed room. Skylar saw that the men had placed the broken down door against the door frame.
