I am well aware that this series is in desperate need of editing. I haven't had the time to do it with all of my classes and exams. I apologize for the delay and will edit whenever I have a down moment. Now onto the book! :)Ryan's POV
That note.. Oh how I hate that note. I am pissed at the man who wrote it as well as the person who it was meant for.. In time I'll get Rory to tell me the truth. No. Matter. What.
One hour before.
I step in the through the front door of our home and take in a deep breathe. Thank god the day is over, I counseled ten different people today and the stress is building up from their need. I slide my satchel from my shoulders and set it down on the side of the door, and taking off my shoes I walk to my room. Opening and shutting the door behind me. I plop down on the bed when I hear the crinkling of what sounds like paper.
I roll over and face the wall or better known as Rory's side of the bed. I sweep my hands over the side of the bed and find nothing. Determined, I rise from the bed and tug back the covers in search of the sound's source. I'm about to give up my search until I lift up Rory's pillow and that's when I see it.. A small crumpled up yellow sheet of paper. Curiously, I pick up and unravel the paper and am instantly shock by what I see.
Dear Stephen,
I'll admit that I've been having a blast with this little fling we've had going but I can't carry on with it any longer. I want us to meet one last time to discuss the details of the end of this affair. I'm certain that you are very shocked by this sudden action but it must be ended before Bryan finds out. The sex was great, so don't blame the separation on that.Sincerely, Rory
By the time I'm through reading the note there are tears running down my cheeks. Rory.. The love of my life.. Cheating? "No!" I scream from rising hysteria. I run to the door and pull it open and run to the bathroom. I burst into a fit of uncontrollable sobs and once I start I can't calm down. I look down and realize that the note is still in my hand and I see the address of our local star bucks, grind my teeth together. That's where they'll be meeting..
I read the date of the meet up and the time, crumbling the note back into a ball I look up to my reflection in the bathroom mirror. I glare at my face, all red and puffy from the crying and instantly feel regret. Rory is not worth my tears! I scold myself mentally. I guess I'll have to get more proof of this note and what it truly stands for so I think I'll drop in on this meet up. My mind is quickly made on attending the meet up a week from now next Saturday. I smile at my reflection, this should be good.. I think to myself.
