Ryan's POV
Sitting in the parking lot of the coffee shop, I wait quietly for Rory and the home wrecker to arrive. I've been playing it cool for the past week, which has of course proved itself to be quite difficult. I had to accept Rory's kisses instead of shying away from them in disgust. He tried to have sex with me several times and I was forced to give in, in order to avoid suspicion I had no choice.. But today is the day that he'll pay for what he's done, and payback is going to be good.
After a half hour of waiting, I finally see Rory's car pull into the front of the parking lot. He steps out after a few moments and looks around, he looks nervous. Probably because he's afraid of causing a scene, And lord knows just how much Rory hates public scenes. I scoff at the thought and continue to watch carefully from afar. Thank god I'm parked on the opposite side of the building, otherwise I'd be found out for sure. I sit in my close friend Jessica's car just for good measure. When I asked her to borrow it she was curious as to why (considering how my car is brand new and hers is a junker) it's only natural that she ask questions. In response I simply told her that it was important and that she'd get her answers in time, that must've been enough for Jess, because she handed over the keys without another word. Good friend and woman Jess is.
After looking around in search of what I think is the home wrecker, he heads inside of the establishment. I open the car door swiftly and close it behind me then climb out, then head closer to the establishment to better my view on the inside. He looks around confused until he's waved over by a short, blonde haired man. "This must be the home wrecker.." I growl to myself as I continue to stare between him and Rory.
Rory reluctantly walks over in the direction of the other man, as he does this I quickly walk inside the star bucks through the side door. I look around to find that the establishment is almost completely deserted, aside from the few tables filled with groups. I am in the perfect spot to see and hear everything that's going down between the mystery man and Rory.
Peaking around the corner, I observe and listen to them carefully. Rory is the first to speak. "I can't do this anymore Riley.. It was fun while it lasted.. But I have a good life with Bryan. We have a nice house and good running cars.. Hell I may even want to have children with him." He says flatly to the man across from him. Riley who's clearly agitated by Rory's statement, slams his fists into the table. "I can give you that much and more Rory.. You know I can." He grumbles. An amused smile that I know would all to well plays across Rory's face as he responds. "You're simply a side bitch Riley.. You're not the only one that I've fucked over the years. I mean honestly! I'm sexy as hell! How can I ever be faithful or satisfied with just one or two people?" He says cockily.
Riley at that point has had enough, he bursts into tears and tries to grab Rory's hand but is shoved off quickly. "We are done." He spits at him. "Rory please?! Don't go! I need you!" He yells to him. He's hysterical by this point and as Rory rises from his seat and turns to leave, he grabs his wrist and wrenches him back.. Then Rory does something that I never thought I'd see him do. Rory turns around and back hands Riley across the face. Shocked at his action, Riley clutches the side of his face and whispers. "Okay.." He sits back down at the table in a daze. Rory walks over to him and places a hand in between Riley's shoulder blades. "It's over and done with.. Goodbye Riley." He murmurs to him, then turns and walks out from the establishment.
A waitress comes over and gives him a water shortly after Rory's has taken his leave, and croons something to him. She turns and heads back behind the counter, leaving him to sip his water absently. Outraged, I storm out of the establishment. I can't believe that the man I shared so many precious years of my life with would do this to me! Or anyone! I'm surprised that there wasn't a total scene caused by the event, they received little to no glances whatsoever. Growling, I open and step into the car then slam the door. Starting the car, I pull out of the lot. At the rate and path I'm taking I should hopefully beat Rory back to our house.
Rory had me hook, line, and sinker.. But now the tables are about to turn.
