"Ronin would never..." I muttered, my voice tinged with confusion and disbelief.
"It wasn't me, Liam... but just saying that won't help," Ronin replied, eyes fixed on the floor, his usual confidence shaken.
"So what's going to happen now?" I asked, the gravity of the situation sinking in.
"The police are on their way. They'll be questioning everyone," The principal explained, his tone heavy with resignation. "Tonight is the to the last night of the trip, luckily we don't have to cancel anything".
As if on cue, the sound of approaching sirens filled the air, and the complex terrain was soon a chaotic scene of police officers calling students out into the chilly night for questioning. The revelation of the video's source had shattered any remaining peace.
"So there's actual evidence?" James exclaimed, surprise evident in his voice. "Damn, this is messed up..."
"I need a moment," I murmured, collapsing onto my bed. My phone buzzed incessantly in my pocket, revealing missed calls from my mom. "How far has this spread?" I wondered, my mind racing.
The door creaked open, and I looked up expectantly, only to see Victor entering, visibly shaken from the cold. "Could this have happened at a worse time?" he muttered bitterly.
"What did you say?" I snapped, my temper flaring as I stood up, hands clenching into fists.
"I'm just being honest," Victor replied with a sigh. "Yes, Ronin's your boyfriend, but that doesn't change the fact that those videos were sent around."
"Ronin would never do something like that!" I exclaimed, my voice rising as I took a step toward Victor, anger boiling over.
"Hey, that's enough!" Elliott interjected firmly, stepping between us, while James quickly guided me back to the bed.
"This isn't helping anyone," Elliott added, his voice strained. "Everyone's on edge as it is."
"What's going on? Is everything alright?" Elliott asked, turning to James with concern as he noticed James's startled reaction.
As the tension in the room simmered, Elliott's intervention helped diffuse the immediate conflict, though the underlying suspicions and accusations remained, casting a pall over the once-celebratory trip.

"What the fuck!?!", James yelled out as he dropped his phone Elliott came in clutch catching it.
"What the fuck?!" James yelled out as he dropped his phone, and Elliott came in clutch catching it.
"What's wrong, babe?" he asked, eyeing James with concern.
"They're spreading more videos," James replied, his voice laced with disbelief. "Look, it's all over social media now."
Elliott's eyes widened as he scrolled through the notifications. "Shit, this is bad. They're saying Ronin did all of this?"
In the corner of the room I noticed sweat pouring off Victor's forehead, it's cold that shouldn't be possible I thought aloud, the others noticed aswell.
"Why now William what the fuck are you doing", he clutched his fist his breathing heavy.
"Victor are you alright man?", Elliott asked in a concerned tone.
"Uhm yeah I'm alright", he huffed which was uncharacteristic for him even James took note.
"Victor what aren't you telling us?", I questioned.
As I stood before Victor, the tension in the room palpable, Elliott and James exchanged concerned glances. Victor's demeanor was off—sweating profusely, hands clenched into fists, and breathing heavily. It was clear that something was amiss.
"Victor, what's going on?" I pressed, my voice tinged with urgency.
Elliott stepped closer, placing a reassuring hand on Victor's shoulder. "You don't look well. Did something happen?"
Victor's gaze darted around the room, his eyes wide with panic. "I... I can't do this anymore," he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Do what?" James asked, his tone sharp with suspicion.
Victor swallowed hard, his nerves visibly frayed. "I... I'm sorry," he stammered, his words coming out in a rush. "It was me. I hacked Ronin's phone and spread those videos."
The room fell silent, the weight of Victor's confession hanging heavily in the air. I felt a mix of shock and anger wash over me, disbelief coloring my thoughts.
"You what?" I exclaimed, my voice filled with a mix of rage and betrayal.
Elliott and James exchanged looks of disbelief, struggling to comprehend Victor's admission.
"Why would you do that?" Elliott asked, his voice filled with disappointment.
Victor's shoulders slumped, his gaze fixed on the ground. "I... was forced to," he admitted, his voice barely audible. "Believe me I didn't want to do it, also I had no clue about the other videos."
"Forced to ?" James echoed, his voice incredulous. "You ruined Ronin's life because you were apparently forced to?"
Victor nodded, a look of shame crossing his features. "I didn't think it would go this far. I'm sorry, Liam. I never meant for any of this to happen. William figured out that I.. I cheated on one of my exams and this was the only way for him to shut up about it.

I felt a mix of emotions—anger, betrayal, and a deep sense of disappointment. "You realize what you've done?" I said, my voice shaking with anger.
"I know," Victor replied, his voice filled with remorse. "I'll face the consequences. I deserve it."
Elliott stepped forward, his expression stern. "You've put Ronin through hell. We need to tell Mr. Green."
James nodded in agreement. "Yeah, this isn't something we can handle on our own."
Victor hung his head, his eyes filled with regret. "I'll confess to Mr. Green," he said quietly. "I'll accept whatever punishment comes my way, William ruined everything for himself by releasing those videos anyways".
"Victor, I've got an idea. If you help us, we won't tell anybody," I said with a mischievous smirk, a brilliant idea popping into my head.
We concocted a plan, shifting the blame to an unknown culprit while Ronin was detained in the hall. This strategy helped our case momentarily, resulting in Ronin's temporary release, although he remained a top suspect. The night descended into chaos, with frantic screams echoing as people discovered their exposure to the world. It was disturbing to think that someone could be so malevolent, but I was determined to show that I was the most evil of them all.
With only a few hours of sleep, we departed from the complex, leaving behind the whirlwind of events. From my unexpected encounter with my old girlfriend to the entire video fiasco, it had been an unforgettable experience. Back at school, I awaited my mom to pick us up, only to find my dad waiting instead.
