Confusing Love

The sleepover

Once the week was over, and it was Friday, i sent a text to everyone to meet me at my house. Elle arrived first, then Sabrina. Then Lily got dropped off by her mum and walked inside. "Hey" She says, sitting on the couch next to me.

After making sandwiches for everyone, and getting soft drinks, we run up stairs and sit on the ground with cushions around us. I turn the TV on and put a movie on, that we all didn't really watch, we basically talked the whole time. On the second movie, and when the popcorn and lollies were sitting in front of us all, my phone started ringing. I read the caller ID which said Mama bear. I get up quickly "Mum is calling me, ill be right back" I walk out of the room "Don't eat all of the lollies while I'm gone" I yell out. "We will if you don't hurry up" Lily screams out, i snort.

"Hey mum" I say into the phone. I didn't want to take to long, because that isn't fair to the girls. "Hey sweetie, are you having fun?" She asks me. I smile "Yeah" I answer back. The phone crackles as she moves around, she was at work. "Ill be home by dinner, what do you girls want?'' She asks. I walk down the hallway and into my room "What do you girls want for dinner?'' i ask, everyone looks at each other. "Chinese?'' Elle suggests. "Yessssss" Lily screams, and Sabrina agrees. I nod, I was craving Chinese food too. "We want Chinese food, mama" I say. She agrees and hangs up.

"So, you and Ryan huh?" Sabrina says, leaning over to grab a handful of popcorn. Everyone turns away from the TV screen and stares at me "We're not going to rush anything, i mean, we're still young" I say. They all nod "Well, when are you two going to kiss" Sabrina asks. I laugh awkwardly and shrug "I don't know" I say. "What about you Lily, have a crush on anyone yet?" I say, trying to change the subject. She shrugs "I kind of think Alex is cute" She answers back. We all smile at her "He is cute, you should go ahead" Elle says.

After waiting for about an hour and a half, my mum arrived with 3 bags full of food, after getting a plateful of food and a glass of lemonade, we all sit down at the dining room table and eat. After small talk and dinner we head upstairs to my room, where we sat down on the bed and gave each other makeovers and painted each other's nails. "Your mum is cool" Elle says, laying back onto the bed. I nod, doing a second coat of gold nail polish on Sabrina's finger nail. "Yeah, she is" I say back.
